of a private residence with the charm of a boutique villa—complete with ocean views, breezy terraces, authentic Mexican style, and thoughtful modern comforts.
The space

This 3BR suite is created by combining Curiel’s Retreat (2BR) and Jonathan’s Lugar (1BR) into one exclusive space with its own living area and ocean-view terrace. Each bedroom features a king bed with luxury linens and an ensuite bathroom with rainfall shower
and premium toiletries. The main living area opens to a private terrace perfect for morning coffee or sunset cocktails. A full kitchen plus an additional kitchenette in the master bedroom give guests added flexibility for meals and snacks. High-speed fiber
Wi-Fi (up to 1 Gbps + backup) supports remote work and streaming. Las Brisas is one of up to four private residences that make up Villa Amistad. Each has its own private entrance and living space, offering a perfect blend of privacy and boutique-style amenities.
Guests enjoy access to Villa Amistad’s shared amenities, including the heated saltwater pool with ocean views, two shared terraces, honor bar, BBQ grill, purified water throughout the property, and daily housekeeping (Mon–Sat). A bilingual digital guidebook
is included with complete information about the villa, curated dining recommendations, activities, request in-house massages, and information about our concierge service to assist with arranging airport transfer options, chef services, tours, and more. Located
in El Cerro, Puerto Vallarta’s original hillside neighborhood, Las Brisas is just a 5-minute walk to the Malecón and 10–20 minutes to Los Muertos Beach, the Romantic Zone, restaurants, nightlife, and galleries. The hill is moderate—Ubers and taxis are readily
available for those who prefer not to walk. Important Notes - Check-in: 4:00 PM | Check-out: 11:00 AM - Complimentary early check-in from 3 PM when available. Priority early check-in from Noon and late checkout to 5 PM available when possible and for a fee.

Security Deposit: A $400 USD credit or debit card authorization hold is placed within 48 hours of check-in to cover any potential damages or outstanding balances during your stay. This is not a charge, and the hold is automatically released after checkout.

Guest access

Parking and drop-offs Guests can drive up to the house to drop off luggage. While parking isn’t allowed in the alley, street parking is available nearby on adjacent streets. Guests and friends have never had an issue with their cars.
The neighborhood

Villa Amistad is located in El Cerro, one of Puerto Vallarta’s original hillside neighborhoods overlooking Banderas Bay. Our small cobblestone alley is home to long-time Mexican families, many single middle-aged to older women, and a few gay men — a close-knit
community where neighbors know each other and look out for one another. It feels authentic, lived-in, and safe. Guests love staying here because they can enjoy the energy of the city, then return to a peaceful, local neighborhood that still feels genuinely
Mexican.
Getting around

The Romantic Zone, Centro, and 5 de Diciembre neighborhoods are all within walking distance—most places are 5–25 minutes away on foot. The hill up to the villa is moderate; guests who prefer not to walk are welcome to use the many Ubers and taxis readily available
and affordable in this area. Local buses run along the main roads below and cost 10 pesos (exact change required). Parking is not allowed on Arroyo del Pedregoso, but free street parking is available on nearby streets.
