The staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s very close to the main plaza and the view from the balcony is exceptional. It is a very cozy room. There’s plenty of space and for about $10 housekeeping will do your laundry for you. Be aware that you are about 100 feet from the loudest part of the town so it does stay very loud till very early in the morning so definitely bring earplugs or a noise machine, but that’s to be expected if you’re staying this close to the main plaza I would recommend this place. It has an exceptional rooftop bar and Terrace with a wonderful view. It is up a steep hill, but it’s only about 100 feet and most people rent golf carts anyway like I did

I had a wonderful stay at Mi Otra Casa. Rigo and Alicia were very welcoming and friendly and made my stay in Sayulita feel like home. Alicia cooked me breakfast every morning with eggs and toast and fruit while Rigo helped me navigate the town with my limited grasp on the Spanish language. Sayulita can be a noisy place at night and Rigo did all he could to accommodate me and make my stay first rate. Highly recommend Mi Otra Casa.

We had a wonderful stay at Mi Otra Casa! The facility is very clean and well maintained, and the service was excellent. Rigoberto was incredibly attentive and always available to help with anything we needed. Meals were offered at the house, but we chose to explore and eat in town instead. The location is convenient and peaceful, though it can get a bit loud at night due to nearby clubs — earplugs helped. Aside from that, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I would absolutely recommend MOC to anyone visiting Sayulita!

No staff to assist with anything in the evening even though we were told to call if we needed anything. Very dangerous stairway. Three flights of stairs with no handrails. No bar, spa, or available breakfast even though it is advertised as having these amenities. Only 2 chairs by the pool. Extremes disappointed in this hotel and do not recommend. Not as advertised as all.

Property is nice, staff is very friendly and attentive. It's right off of the town square in a convenient location. It is on the hill, so if stairs or climbing is problematic this might not be the right fit for you. Due to the location it can be very noisy at night, especially on weekends or holidays. Earplugs are recommended for sleeping.

Nice boutique hotel. Room was very large and nicely decorated and very comfortable, with a great view. Staff was great, service and attention was great. Only disappointment was the pool was closed for repairs, and pools are important in Mexico.

We love mi otra casa!!! Edgar and team were welcoming and caring, WhatsApp made communicating arrival times and any needs throughout our stay convenient & easy. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of during our stay! We loved the location and proximity to nightlife - Sayulita loves a party and the location of mi otra casa makes it so convenient to be where the party is! Close to all restaurants, the beach, shopping it was a perfect stay! Thank you Mi Otra Casa!

My friend and I loved our four night stay at MOC. The property is beautiful, clean and secure. It’s conveniently located close to the towns centre. It is loud at night but earplugs helped! Rigo and Alicia were awesome hosts and having breakfast made in the morning was a lovely experience! Would definitely stay here again on the next trip to Sayulita!

We loved our stay here, the cutest place with the nicest staff. AWESOME location in Sayulita, 5 minute walk to the beach and close to the center of town. As previous reviews had stated, it’s very noisy at night, but there is a fan in the room and if you have it turned on it really drowns out the noise and also keeps your room nice and cool, but that fan also has a super bright light which was more annoying to me than the noise from the town. Breakfast every morning was wonderful and delicious but I do wish they had a coffee maker in the rooms so if I wanted coffee in the morning I could just make it in my room without going to the dining area. Minor inconveniences though. Also, it should be noted that the property is on a hillside and might cause some difficulty for guests with mobility issues. We really had a great time and would definitely stay again!

This us NOT a hotel false description. Its more like a B&B. No lobby staff comes in the morning to make some coffee and eggs.. rooms are small with no tv. Three floors with no elevators or bellman. This HOUSE was on a steep hill very dangerous to walk to. It is located in the very close to downtown. Beach is a 10 minute walkon super rocky roads. Arrived at 2pm and yhe property was locked. Had to wait over an hour on the sidewalk with all our suitcqses. Contacted expedia to try to cancel this house bookingand rebook to an actual joyelbut the owner refused to cancel and expedia was no help. I was very disappointed with the service i received.i would have never booked this house if i knew that it wasnt a hotel. I would not stay here again nor rec. Ithink yhe owner need to update the property description and Expedia needs to verify the property descriptions before posting this adommend this oroperty

This was an excellent property, with amazing staff. It has really cool boho vibe. Very comfortable bed and large seating area. Fantastic views. It's very central and very close to everything; walkable everywhere. I would only say, this hotel is not for light sleepers as there is a a lot of activity and music coming from the central bars at night. Thanks Rigo and team!

The beds are very comfortable and a daily breakfast was provided. Accommodations are clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was a variation of the traditional eggs, tortillas, and potatoes with juice and it was good. We asked for fruit salad for breakfast and only once received sliced watermelon. It was delicious but not what we asked for. It would have been nice to have variety at breakfast i.e. fruit salad, yogurt, and granola. The property is conveniently located by the square on a very steep hill, which could be an issue for those with mobility issues. This should be pointed out to would be travelers. Also, due to the proximity to downtown, DURING Holidays and Festivities it is extremely loud until 4 am in the morning. Please be sure to carefully consider the time of year when booking and the hotel should make travelers aware of this fact. Many may love to party all night during the Fiestas but others may not. The Staff were nice, helpful, and responsive. However, they spoke little English and communication was a bit of a challenge. We suggest the Hotel put together a resource book to have to travelers in at the reception counter. It could have a map of the area. This book could feature popular local activities, lists places for various types of dining; fancy, laid back, delivery. It could list the best nearby ATMS or banks, as well as nearby convenience stores/pharmacies. Having such a resource, which we've found at other accommodations is very helpful.
