Small and nice

This hotel is small and the center of the hotel is the pool. It's a nice hotel, it's close to the ocean, and the center of the town is a few block walk.

Great place for short term stay in La Penita!

We really enjoyed our 7 night stay at this hotel. Very clean. Comfortable. Secure. Quite quiet with interior courtyard with lots of fresh air and good sunshine. Better patio chairs that are not wobbly and facecloths in the rooms are our minor quibbles. Central location is excellent with east access to beach, good restaurants, super minis and Guaybitos. We loved the nearby local foods available. Would definitely book again!

Luxury Inn La Penita is a great place to stay. It is a short walk to the beach, short walk to shopping, and on Thursdays it is market day in La Penita, and the market is only a short 1/2 block from the Luxury Inn. The inn is in great condition, beds are comfortable. The staff is accommodating and pleasant. Good wifi and good size pool. The restaurant serves excellent food. Fresh ground coffee is very nice. Just remember La Penita is more old Mexico with cobble and dirt roads, but the people are great, the food at the taco stands is safe and enjoyable... Head down the street to Avante's for prime rib or lamb shank, but make sure to reserve your table in advance.

Nice hotel in so so town

Nice hotel, helpful staff, a few maintenance issues, but overall good. The town was a bit sad and run down. The road to get to the hotel was one of the worst I have driven on in México.

Almost perfect.

Lovely modern hotel. All the staff were nice and friendly except for the receptionist. Not friendly at all . Had an excellent breakfast (not included). Had to pay for the milk for our coffees lol.

The room was a nice size and the court yard and pool was very nice. There is hardly any bathroom counter so we had to keep our bathroom stuff in the bedroom closet but it wasn’t a deal breaker. The toilet seat was broken and when we told them, the guy at the front desk said yes he knew but didn’t seem to think they needed to fix it. Whatever, we survived it without falling off the toilet when it slipped to one side. The bed was a bit hard but that seems to be the case in pretty much every place we’ve stayed in in Mexico. The restaurant wasn’t open the first two nights but was open the day we were leaving so we went there for lunch before we left. It was very good. Our checkout was at 12:00 noon but we couldn’t get into our other place until 3:00 so they let us enjoy the pool until three. They said we could keep our suitcases in the front lobby but we just kept them with us at the pool. That was very nice of them. All in all, the stay was nice and we’d probably stay there again if we needed to.
