The staff was wonderful. We stayed at Costa Sur between hurricanes. There was major damage to the sea wall near the larger pool and outdoor bar so they had to be roped off for safety restricting access to the beach also. That meant that only the small pool was available to guests so at times it was quite crowded. The staff was pleasant and very accommodating especially on the day and a half that we had to stay in our rooms as precaution for the next hurricane, Simon. The facility is now all inclusive so meals and drinks were included. The menu was a bit limited (understandable) but all meals were quite wonderful. Chef was also very accommodating when I asked to modify two dishes to make a different one dish. All in all it was a good experience not great but it was all handled well.

Great quiet resort. Very clean and friendly service. Only negative is its far from everything but if you want to relax this is the place and if you want to go anywhere transportation is available but of course the cost adds up.

Our housekeeper, Yanet, was great. We loved our room, the food at the restaurant was really good, the views were impeccable. Our only problem was that guests reserved all the pool lounge chairs early in the morning. In the 11 days we stayed, we never could get a space by the pool until the evening.
