Thank you for a lovely stay. The villa was great, and Adrian/Adela were just spectacular! Adrian in particular went out of his way to make sure we got all our arrangements made. He's the only reason I give 5 stars, even though it isn't he who should be the "manager". In spite of it not being his job, he went an extra mile (or more) and covered for the AWFUL property management company, who were utterly unresponsive. Our "concierge" Jorge never returned a single text or message, except to take credit for something he didn't even arrange. Additionally, the owner similarly never replied to multiple requests for information since there are many items in the property description that need clarity. (e.g. "What does a "simple breakfast" mean, which is listed as being provided? Can you handle one guest who has celiac disease and cannot eat gluten? Etc) I was left guessing about needs of our group of 8 friends, but managed nevertheless. One real disappointment (which, of course, has nothing to do with ownership or management, but prospective guests should be aware) was that the neighborhood where the villa is was rather "rough around the edges". Not especially nice, and the last block that you must walk on to get to the house is very steep, and would not be appropriate for anyone with physical challenges. If you're out shopping or eating a meal, it's awkward to get a taxi for a short ride in order to avoid climbing the hill. But the villa itself was quite lovely, In general it was very well maintained, and the stay was a tremendous success. Thank you in particular to Adrian! We had a great time.
