First and foremost, I am not one to leave reviews but I feel like I should let future guests know to be very selective in the rooms the book at this condominium.
My overall experience at the resort/condo was fine. The beach is easy to access, the pools are nice- one heated with a slide. Not much to do at the condos themselves but the specific room I booked was not worth the 1000 dollars I paid. It didn’t have a workin fan, our mattress had a blood stain along with the cover, the TV didn’t work. (Side note: who watching tv on vacation- my mother is sick and needed to be in our room more often than not - she couldn’t watch tv or enjoy a cool room.)
The front desk was semi helpful, when I brought the things to their attention, but asked for photos of the bed and wasn’t the most empathetic to our situation. Understanding some of it may have been out of their control but I would have assumed I would have been compensated for a portion of my fees due to the state of the room. I was not offered this nor was I allowed to switch rooms when I requested that options. It definitely put a dark cloud over my stay and my families (who drove over 15+ hours with a toddler to take this once in a lifetime trip). We were all was very disappointed but tried to make the best of it.
I would not go back to this location and would not stay with this host.
