Worse experience

Room (Garden Villa) The main room is so small, that our suitcases had no place to lay down on the floor. The bathroom is quite sordid. The toilet and lavatory is „inside“ the shower and bathtub outside. The toilet is screened with a curtain, but when you under the shower or in the bathtub the neighbours of the upper house can see you. The mosquitos are always waiting for you there. Wifi: Does not function in the stated area. Ask for pocket wifi. Restaurant: Completly over prized food with really bad quality. A fruit plate is a half banana, a few small pieces of watermelon and 2 small pieces of sour mango. For a price of 297 pesos. If you want a bit yoghurt for that, extra charge is 110 pesos. The domestic breakfast costs 385 pesos If you want one slice extra, they charge 30 pesos for that. Service in the restaurant is very slow and bad. Pool/Beach: The water was covered all over with sunscreen oil and other dirt, the sunbed was full of bird feces. The beach is not for laying down. Other: Very often no electricity for hours, a half day no water. No discount for that inconveniences. You can visit other restaurants or Porto Galera only by boat. Buri charges 250 pesos one way, others 300 pesos both way. Resume: 1 of 10 points. Worst experience in the Philippines and we saw a lot...

Ok but overpriced

the hotel is actually nice. The downs were the commercial music all the time in public areas and poor service (but nice staff). The beach is terrible too...

the hotel is fine but some hotel details were not properly extended to us (check in time, hotel promotion). also no wifi. they told us there are in common area but suddenly its only router working but no internet connection. food prices were too expensive.

Few days get away

Buri resort and spa very nice quiet place, room which had nice view of pool area. Very clean and big. Only negative is there's only 1 restaurant eat at and very high in price. Other good selection of different foods and children menu .....spa is very over priced It's high season but would think have costs little lower keep guests from taken boat go other areas eat....overall very nice place great locations but just high in price restaurant and spa....

Couples escape

I have stayed with my family. But I especially recommend this hotel for couples. Sea is not so good in the from of hotel due to muddy sand. But swimming pool and green atmosphere is very nice.

Buri-Amazing!

The staff was amazing!!! We had so many snafus and hiccups arriving due to the typhoon in Taiwan, delayed flights, cancelations, etc. The staff arranged transfers for us and waited until we arrived around 12:30AM to greet us with a drink and even opened the kitchen to feed us since we hadn't eaten for a few hours with all the traveling. They went out of their way every day! The restaurant was very good, I think we tried everything once from the menu. The spa is fun and pool area is amazing. Any excursion you want they prepare it for you and have a boat waiting within 30 minutes. They spared no expense and we loved every moment.

Nice quiet hotel in a beautiful area

This was a nice, quiet hotel that is a `0 minute boat ride from Puerto Gallera. The food at the hotel is good. The pool is nice. The rooms are small and basic but comfortable. It is very enjoyable if you want someplace peaceful and quiet but not too far by boat from a busier small town.

被偷錢(兩萬披索學經驗)

抱著愉快的心情入住,看到獨棟套房非常開心,預計入住兩天一夜,在入住第一天晚上出發白沙灘(white beach)離開飯店五小時,隔天要離開時發現同伴共計三人的錢包現金被偷,立刻告知飯店人員. 飯店人員立刻回覆,如果沒有鎖在保險箱裡面,現金被偷都不是他們的責任,但其實我們是有付保全費用的,所以我們要求看錄像(並非他們主動提出),經過約二十分鐘,另外一個男性工作人員出來跟我們說,國際法規規定沒有把重要物品放入保險櫃,都是旅客的問題,並且說如果你們需要可以直接叫警察來,態度十分囂張極惡劣,並沒有想要幫我們處理,也沒有顧及客人感受,只是一昧地說是我們的問題,後續我與同伴討論時,也一直打斷我們的對話,像是作賊心虛,看準了旅客並不想要惹事叫警察,所以態度很差,好像是我們應該的!!!!!!!!!!!!請大家注意多注意,隨身攜帶自己的重要物品,不要相信飯店的保安與服務人員. 這趟旅程多花了兩萬披索學經驗,旅客被偷錢並不會被飯店保護或協助,只會推卸責任,服務人員態度太差了!!!!可以不要去消費

A wonderful retreat

I will start by explaining why I only rated Buri 4 stars. Only one reason, and that is the fact that you must take and pay for a boat ride to do anything at all other then stay at the resort, whereas there are other resorts in Puerto Galera that don't have this issue. Now, everything else at Buri was 1st class and amazing. The food in the restaurant was great and reasonably priced for American standards. The staff was great too. Very friendly and helpful, not to mention Grace is beautiful. :) And if you go, don't skip out on the massage. Jelma (I think that's her name) gave me an incredible massage that I won't soon forget. She was also gorgeous! Well worth the pesos. Buri also organizes tours of Puerto Galera for which they take care of everything for you, you just show up and go. They even pack you a very good lunch to take with you. Overall, I would absolutely go back to Buri again, for sure. A tropical paradise that anyone could enjoy.

Beautiful

Buri is a great getaway with exceptional service. The staff all have to be hospitality qualified. The Calamsai (local lime) slushy is out of this world, it is a very romantic spot with only a few bungalows a great pool in the middle of nowhere - only been accessible by boat. The only downside is the pool bungalows which have a plunge pool and four poster bed are the highest - my room was 198 steps so a bit of a hike - the family bungalows are lower. The snorkelling and underwater cave tour is a must - you simply hold on the boat takes you around the many corals and giant clams - it really is the way to snorkel.

Dejligt ophold på Buri!

MEGET venligt og hjælpsom personale. God frokost og aftens menu kort, dog lidt kedeligt morgenmad. Ikke så god strand. Dejlig udsigt fra vores villa, dog kunne de store træer omkring poolområdet godt beskæres lidt, for at give et bedre lysindfald. Valuta for pengene.

Afslapning i idyl og ren luksus

Vi havde 5 fantastiske dage på Buri Resort & Spa. Hotellet er placeret for sig selv, hvor der kun er adgang med båd. Vi boede i en garden villa til 2 personer, som var super hyggelig, rummelig samt pænt og ren. Personalet var super servicemindede og hjælpsomme. Omgivelserne samt hotellets faciliteter var helt i top. Der er kun 13 villaer, hvilket gør antallet af gæster begrænsede. Samlet høster hotellet topkarakterer fra os på alle parametre.

Magnifique

Très bel hotel, isolé, beau standing, les villas sont magnifiques, très belle vue sur la piscine et la mer. Le restaurant est délicieux. Les activités proposées sont complètes. Seul bémol, l'hôtel n'est accessible qu'en bateau, et pas facile de trouver un bateau qui veut vous ramener a 3h du matin...

amazing staff

we stayed at the Buri resort, and had a wonderful time, the staff in particular were amazingly nice, helpful and generally happy, this made our stay exceptional, The food in the restaurant was also very nice with both Philippine and western style food cooked very well, mmm mango pancakes, although by Philippines standards a bit expensive. . The location of the hotel is isolated but not far from civilization (know one bugging you constantly like on white beach), and the beach n front of the hotel is not great, so nice beaches and civilization are all accessible by boat, which our kids loved, this is expensive, and the cost of the boat doubles after 6pm, so not economical to go out for dinner. So in summary a cheap getaway it isn't, but if you want to spend a little bit more then it is for you. In my mind though this slight extra expense was more than worth it for one of the most relaxing holidays I have ever had. We will definitely be back, Thankyou Buri resort,

가성비 최악

접근성- 푸에르토갈레라 뮬리항에서 다시 보트환승15분 가야함. 왕복사백페소 오후6시이후 가격은 두배를 지불해야 갈수 있다. 단독리조트로 주변에 아무것도 없음. 모든 액티브티나 식사등을 리조트안에서 모두 해결해야함. 음식은 매우 맛없음.다른 레스토랑에 갈려면 배타고 나가야 됨. 리조트 사진하고는 분위기가 많이 다름. 전형적인 로컬리조트로 현지인이 대부분임. 침대메트리스는 낡아서 프레임이 드러나 몹시 불편하고 방에 개미가 많음. 비추~~~~~
