Booked 3 rooms since we were traveling in a group. All 3 were the “superior” rooms and the quality of each room was VASTLY different. You take a gamble with this place. Only one room truly reflected the pictures, but was noisy at night due to the street. Besides that, for 1-2 nights, it is in a good location and cheap.

The rooms were gorgeous and clean. The restaurant upstairs was great. The staff were so nice. The whole vibe of the hotel was so great. Real Mexican style not a cookie cutter hotel. Loved every part of it!

Lots of potential: close to the downtown square, restaurants and other points of interest. The restaurant in the premises is good, but a bit noisy. So if you are not eating there, the noise level is high.
Loved the colonial atmosphere and look to Al Otro Lado. The receptionist, Sheyla, was very friendly and helpful. The staff was nice and helpful. The unaffiliated restaurant in front is good, but a bit noisy during business hours, so if you want more privacy, ask for a room around the back patio.
Nice people. Old convent converted rooms. Very nice. Comfortable beds and linens. Rooftop restaurant noisy some not all nights but lots of sound in Mexico. Neighborhood always felt safe and great weekend market across the street. Clean water morning coffee for 20 pesos. All good
It's a pretty hotel in a good location. The staff were helpful. Our room was large. The hot water was slow to come in. It took 10 minutes and then was only lukewarm. The television would turn off unexpectedly and was not reliable.

The hotel has character and its quiet. We were checked in on ground floor so its convenient for luggage. The courtyard layout is interestijg. Easy to walk to zocalo where there r plenty restaurant options and easy to browse main market.
The downside is the doors r not shut completely so cold air gets in. I imagine it will be great in summer.
But the shower is far from ideal. The water is super scorching hot and u cant adjust to somewhere in between even if u turn on a little of the cold tap. We took it for only one day and its because we r enroute to cholula and hot air balloon.
Beautiful property, greatly located. Check in staff went to check my room upon arrival and as I followed them with an hotel colleague. The person was inside of my room laughing with a non hotel staff that was, when I entered the hotel, 2 beers down inside the hotel patio.
Uncomfortable situation
This was a good hotel room at a great price. The hotel itself is very pretty and exactly as advertised. It's also within walking distance of everything you might want to see in Puebla city centre.
The difficulty here is that the restaurant has been taken over by Antojería Nacional, a chain of buffet restaurants. It is incredibly noisy all day, with loud group parties and birthday chants, and it doesn't shut until 10 pm.
If you are going to stay here, make sure you ask for a room in the rear courtyard. The ones at the front are directly underneath the restaurant's wooden floorboards above.
My second stay and this hotel is in a quiet area, clean, great courtyard to sit in, internet was great, shower was hot and easy 6 minute walk to Zocalo and many restaurants.
Very pintoresque!! Being a restored building but in a very charming way, makes this place unique!
A restaurant is in the property but is not part of the hotel, limited parking but walking distance to downtown.
Not great for holiday, just fine for quick stay. Parking is not in the property, it is close but it is need it to the staff to open the gate, at night is not ideal.
Hotel have several not hotel restaurantes inside the hotel and they are too loud. Again, not for holiday only for quick stay.
