"Absolutely fantastic Lodge😍 Couldn't have asked for anything more in a holiday home. Every need has been considered and catered for down to every little detail and the owners are very kind and helpful. The Lodge is beautiful, comfortable and modern. We stayed in October so could make use of the log burner. For Stargazers it is a Dark skies area and we were fortunate enough to have a clear night during our stay. We enjoyed the view from the patio with blankets again thoughtfully left by the owners. My Husband I will definitely be looking to stay here again. Thanks for having us Willow Lodge!! 😊"

"We highly recommend the Benmore Byre. The photos do not do justice to the beauty of the glen. Just a few mins walk from Loch Eck, the amazing Benmore Gardens on your doorstep, and so many gorgeous walks close by. Well-situated for exploring Argyll's many wonders."

"More towels would be appreciated or tumble drier to wash and dry the used towels .Very good communication from owner which was appreciated."

"We booked this primarily based on the pictures especially of the outdoor areas. However these appear to have now been neglected. You would not want to spend time in the summerhouse. The bbq would need cleaning before use. Some of the birdfeeders had mouldy deposits. The chairs , tables and benches appear to just been left out for the elements to take their toll. The welcome pack needs updating especilly in regards to the heating/hot water Yes we needed it in June. Only 1 of the logs provided would actually fit in the burner had we wanted to use it. No dishwasher tablets were provided and hand washing up wasn't really catered for. A bit more crockery , knives and saucepans was expected for a "well equipped kitchen" We had brought some bird food and nuts so saw a variety of wildlife in the grounds. Squirrels , Fox Cub , Deer and many birds."

"This is a great place to stay. We came in Feb, so there are a few things still closed.The house is lovely and clean, the doorways are wide and suitable for big wheel chairs, but the bathrooms are strictly wheelchair friendly, there were no grab rails in the ensuite bathroom.The grass on the 4 sides of the house is mostly moss and is very wet and boggy. The kitchen is not very well stocked. There were no good knives, there was only a small chopping board, there is a vent in the floor in front of the cooker that constantly blows cold air, and the dishwasher needed salt.The rooms are comfortable, but the bed in the Main bedroom is too soft and too small.The lounges and comfortable and large. The room with the fire gets very warm if you get the fire just right. And the logs provided are a nice feature.The internet is mostly OK, but it gets sketchy about 9pmThere are some really good walks close by. Pucks Glen is a wonderful climb, it will be much better when the current tree fall is cleared up.This makes some of the routes tough and others impassable.Dunoon is a nice town, but not a great deal to do. Go and visit Lorne(pub), the food is great. Invarary is a quaint little town. Fairly close by.If you come from the south to get here you may cross the Clyde using the ferry at Greenock, this is expensive, but will save another 2 hours in the car.Would we go back? Yes, most probably."
