"Great value for money, nice place to stay as long as you aren't expecting a five star hotel type of experience. Clean (besides some dead large-ish bugs on the floor), full apartment amenities including a kettle, coffee maker, washing machine, iron, microwave and standard kitchen appliances. I reached out to the host via WhatsApp re late check-out and they were very nice and helpful and English fluent. The location is a bit tricky to find, so better to get there in daylight hours."

Door to hotel apartment is broken, only stays closed with key locking. Water pressures for the shower is a trickle. Rock hard mattress, needed duvet on top of bed to sleep on top for any comfort. "Room was lovely and big. Nice balcony. Views are of the industrial port so “sea view” is technically correct but it’s not what most people might imagine! Nice sky bar (16th floor). Shower and bed both good. Lighting - as so often in hotels - not great. Always had to request towels in the gym/sauna area - lack of checks to ensure they were available. Breakfast was excellent - big choice, good egg station. "

"The Best Western Plus Larco Hotel is overrated. It's outside the city center (30 to 40 minutes on foot), the rooms are tiny and certainly not what you would expect of a hotel that is rated 4 stars, the breakfast is ordinary and repetitive. They also have a nickel and dime attitude that is deplorable. As an example, they give you one litre of water the first day that you arrive, but want you to pay for it starting on the second day. Considering the cost of the tiny hotel room, that's nothing short of deplorable. You're much better off at a property in the middle of town that charges quite a bit less and gives you a lot more."
