「This charming cottage was perfect for myself and 2 friends. The weather eas rainy but cleared for beautiful sunsets. We even saw Northern lights. If the temperatures were warmer we would of kayaked. We had fun playing games, doing puzzles and takjng a day trip to Alpena. I would rent this cottage again when the weather is warmer to kayak and play in the lake.」

「This is a lovely home, beautifully furnished - right on the lake. Very responsive owner when we had a problem. My only caveat is the "third bedroom" which is very small and actually a pass-through from the garage/master bedroom area to the front of the house where the kitchen and 2nd bedroom are. Not much privacy! Otherwise, one of the very best VRBOs I have ever stayed in.」

「The weather did not cooperate but the house, beach and location did not disappoint. Right across the street from a boat rental and fruit market. We will be back. Few calls to Harry that were answered promptly. No issues with the house or property. Neighbors were friendly also.」

「The property was exactly what the pictures showed very petite, quaint, cute, and just enough for us two Although I have arachnophobia, I had a hard time entering and exiting, especially at night. 「This was the second time I've stayed at this cabin. Once with my husband and once with friends. The cabin fit for both scenarios. There is plenty of room and everything is very clean. I have never had such accommodating owners when renting a place either. The property has plenty of places to explore and the sunsets are out of this world. For the price, you get so much out of it. River access, full amenities, several places to sleep. You really can't go wrong renting here. My only piece is advice...

「We had a great time at the cottage. It was quite and very peaceful. We needed it after a stressful year. Even without the lake it was great. Usually we drive around for hiking and fishing.
