「My sister her husband and I wanted to do some wineries and visit Mt.Airy. Just a few days. We had their puppers with us and this couldn't have been a better place for a quick getaway. The place was exactly as posted and the yard was enjoyed greatly by the dogs. We would put them on tie outs and sit on the deck and enjoy some of the wine from the wineries while they enjoyed some outdoor time. The hostess dropped by just to see if we needed anything. What a pleasant surprise. She offered...

「My sister and I stayed at The Dairy Barn for my birthday and the best word I can use to describe it is "bucolic". It possessed all of those attributes you look for in a quiet getaway. Rebecca was easy to communicate with and pleasant. We hit the local wineries on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Floyd, New River Trail and other small, quaint towns that dot that area. The fireflies were spectacular after dark as well as the stars. On our last evening there, cows were released to graze in the field next to...

「Had a wonderful stay. Was pleasantly surprised to find the property was very private with no houses or other people around. The pictures of the property don't quite do this spot justice. Loved that you could also hear the nearby creek as well. I'll be back for sure.」

「Great place to stay. It's literally the best place to disconnect. Quiet. The pool was really ours (clearly the family pool but grateful we had it to ourselves!). Vincent was super communicative. Room is clean. If you struggle with plug in scents like I do because of my neuro disorder - just message Vincent ahead of time as we had to remove it when we got there - it's stout. Bed is increpibly standard. TV has no streaming apps - and no hair dryer (I'm used to properties having - not a big deal -...

「Renee was very responsive and easy to work with. The property was amazing and I really wish we had more time during our trip to really check it out. Our kids loved the animals, especially the sweet dog that greeted us! The place was very clean and well-managed. It was a perfect space for the four of us and for the great price, much better than any hotel you could find. It's not very far at all from the quaint, yet lively town of Wytheville where there are some great restaurants. Our 15 yo had...

「We loved this house and hope to stay here again! The only thing is water doesn’t drain well in the shower and bathroom sink. This house was perfect for our family.」

「Second stay at this lovely location. We were able to experience more outside activity this year as we brought our son (14) and our daughter (22) stopped by. Plenty of room to run and play.We will definitely come again next year for our AnniverSCARY (10/31). Thank you to the owner for the updated heat source and unique experience!」
