This is such a cute little getaway with all the comforts of home! We had plans in Columbia all weekend but wanted to stay somewhere to relax and this was perfect!

ReviewI’ve stayed here twice…this year! That should tell you all you need to know but I’ll say more. Place is clean. Easy check in. Robert is a very responsive host. Plenty of parking for truck & trailer. Walking distance to a boat ramp or 10 minutes to Dreher Island State Park.

Spring fishing trip

Came down for a week fishing trip and the property was exactly what I was looking for, plenty of parking for my truck and boat. Very clean and had everything I needed for my stay.

Perfect little spot for a couple days fishing on Lake Murray. Had everything we needed, including room for the boat, a boat ramp and restaurants within walking distance

Lake Murray Retreat

It was absolutely fabulous, charming little home, pet friendly. Owners were wonderful. 1min from boat ramp. They have all the amenities you need. Wonderful restaurant environment, and if the ones at the marina don’t suit your taste, there are plenty to choose from in town. All around just a wonderful time.

Sweet getaway

This little cottage right at the lake is simply amazing. Clean convenient and simply gorgeous. It was right after Hurricane Helene and the owners met me and was just so nice and polite. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful make a great place for a quick little getaway.

A delightful stay at a charming VRBO near Lake Murray.

I recently enjoyed a month-long stay at this delightful VRBO. The house itself is quaint and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The property had all the amenities one could need for an extended stay. From a well-equipped kitchen to reliable Wi-Fi, and not to mention,walking distance to an amazingly fun restaurant, Nacho Margarita. One of the standout aspects of this stay was the hosts. They were incredibly attentive and responsive, always quick to address any concerns or question I had.

Perfect place to get away and enjoy the lake

This little cottage is a real jewel. The owners have thought of every detail for your comfort. Pack your toothbrush and get ready for a delightful stay at the lake. Nice quite safe neighborhood, within walking distant of not one but two locally owned restaurants, a boat dock for launching your boat or jet skis. Seriously the only you will hate is having to leave. I have stayed at many VRBO properties but this one is by far my new fav!

We loved the design of the small home, the cleanliness, the supplies and infrastructure of just about anything you need for a stay, and the close location to the lake and restaurants. The sleeping space itself needs air conditioning, we debated several nights to sleep in the living room instead. The sleeping space is also facing towards a surprisingly busy street, which adds some additional noise at night. I think that roaches are not completely preventable in a more rural setting with frequent visitors coming and leaving, but I still would recommended a thorough home assessment for improved pest control. Thank you for letting us stay in the Last Resort. We will definitely consider to return in the future.

This property is set up real cute. It is perfect for a party of 2 wanting some RnR in a quiet neighborhood on Lake Murray. Quaint with lots of little extras making one feel right at home. Perfect place for those wanting some lake activity. Owners real nice and personal. Willing to be available if need be.
