Private Cabin with Pond on Family Farm

  • With a large deck overlooking a pond and direct access to Braeutigam Orchards, this private cabin tucked away in the woods is a great place for a relaxing getaway. The farm has been owned and operated by the same family since 1831, with the sixth, seventh, and eighth generations currently living and working on the farm. While you are staying at the cabin, you can purchase seasonal fruits and vegetables and request a tour of the property. Come experience the charm of rural Southwestern Illinois! Located right off of Route 15. Only 10 minutes from Downtown Belleville and 30 minutes from Downtown St. Louis.

This space was perfect for our crew. After long hours working, it was great to come "home" to this peaceful location. The guys absolutely loved it and the host was fantastic. Communication was quick and everything was as expected. We will definitely keep this place in mind if we come back to this area. Highly recommend!

This cabin was beautiful; very spacious for our family on our visit seeing family! The property and creek area were perfect for my children in the morning and evening to play by and my husband and i enjoyed sitting on the deck enjoying the sunsets. We slept great and had no issues! Pillows/towels/blankets were all very comfortable and in plenty! There was even a washer/dryer in the basement we did our laundry in before leaving since we stayed over a week. Tom was great and easy to get ahold of if we needed help or just had questions. Truly no issues, and we look forward to coming back again in the future! Especially during their apple/peach season.

Tom always has the cabin clean & in great shape. It is a quiet and very peaceful location. The Christmas tree & decorations makes it an ideal place to get the family together for Christmas.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The location is perfect next to the farm but also very quiet with a wonderful view over the pond. My son (who loves tractors) couldn’t be happier :)

Amazing stay! Very cute cabin

Everything was wonderful!! Used as a place for bridesmaid to get ready on morning of wedding! Highly recommend this cabin. Cozy, quiet place tucked away on a farm. The host is very nice and personable!

Very charming

We truly enjoyed our stay at this charming little cabin. It is clean, comfortable, and the location is so so beautiful. Also, Tom is an amazing and responsive host! We will absolutely stay here again in the future.
