「We were in Custer for a graduation and the house was a wonderful option for our family. Plenty of space for people and a separate "wing" for our older parents so they didn't have to hear the louder activity when they went to bed in the evening. My mother uses a rollator walker and there was plenty of room to maneuver. We will definitely stay again... hoping for next year at graduation again 🙂」

「This property is small but fine for two people who were on the go most of the time. It could feel a little cramped if there were more people or as a place to stay for an extended period during the day. It is a few miles from Custer State Park and Mount Rushmore, so it was in a good spot for our adventures, and easy walking distance to the downtown area. It offered good, basic accommodations without any frills. We have no complaints.」

「Overall we had a great stay. The property was a great location to Custar, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, and Hot Springs. The furniture and beds were cute and comfortable. There were great views and elk were seen early in the morning. It does state linens are provided but there is only one towel per person so if you need more you may want to bring your own. 「We stayed at the cabin and listened to the wind in the pine trees over looking the canyon. We saw turkey, and other birds, the cabin is well equipped to just stay there and enjoy, and the views are amazing. Shout out to Nina, the Thai food is the best. Highly recommend this cabin and already thinking how nice it would be in the winter.」

「Everything was pretty good! It was the second time we’ve stayed here. The first time they had a great little heater and a heated blanket, this time they had a different heater, which did not really put out much and wasn’t super user friendly, and no heated blankets, which just would have been nice to know since it got pretty cold. The address on Vrbo site was not correct so we went the wrong way, then had to call and get the correct address when we got onto a private property that didn’t look...

「I had a rental car hiccup (note: check the hours of your rental car company if you’re flying into a small airport, they close for as many as 8 hours between incoming flights). I called and they made arrangements for me to check in late. Everything g was perfect and the room was fully illuminated and welcoming when I arrived. Breakfast was amazing and this place has quirky charm for days! I just wished I had stayed here longer. 」
