    Our guest suite is the perfect location to come and unwind. Quiet, peaceful and just steps from the Diamond J horse ranch. A 5 minute drive to Lake on the Mountain resort, Picton downtown and Sandbanks beach. Just 3 minutes from the Glenora ferry.
    Sit outside on the private covered porch and enjoy the company of the many birds, bunnies and deer that like to frequent our place!

Great Place to Stay

We had a great time at the Loyalist Bird House. It is in an excellent location to enjoy all the sights around the area. The place is spacious with a very modern kitchen with everything you need, comfortable bedrooms and lovely porch to sit outside and enjoy the gardens and birds. We would happily stay here again.

This is a wonderful property in a quiet location just outside Picton. The apartment is well appointed and clean. Check in was seamless. The passes to sandbanks was a nice value add. Would love to stay here again next time in Picton. Thanks Dawn!

Great spot to stay in PEC

We were in the area for a family event so didn't get to spend as much time there as we'd have liked, but we really liked it and would happily come back. The quiet front porch was really nice to hang out on at the end of busy days. The unit itself had everything we needed and Dawn upstairs was quick to answer any questions we had. We'd never been to Lake on the Mountain just 4 minutes up the road and would highly recommend a trip there for the views and lunch for anyone else staying here.

Can't beat PEC

Lovely spot 5 to 10 minutes away from Lake on the mountain and Picton. Beautiful area overall The living space was very nice, very clean and functional. If there was one item it would be that occasionally we could hear footsteps and the the occasional conversation, but otherwise the occupants upstairs were very quiet. Enjoyed our stay overall.

Easter Weekend

We really enjoyed our stay at the Loyalist Bird House. The apartment was warm and cozy, and we felt at home from the moment we walked in the door. Beds and furniture were comfortable, the kitchen was amazing, with everything you could want to prepare a meal. We liked the thoughtful touches, like the mints, snacks, bottles of water and the K-cup choices. Location was great for us, outside of town for peace and quiet but close enough to see all that the County has to offer. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay

Apartment was ample, very clean and a short drive to Picton. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beds comfortable. We enjoyed to porch where we had drinks and listened to the sound of the birds. It is a very quiet location. The apartment is air conditioned so we were quite comfortable despite the warm weather. Dawn communicated clearly and in a timely manner. The apartment is partially below ground so some might find it lacking in natural light but that wasn't an issue for us.

Quiet Winter Weekend Getaway

My partner and I were looking for a relaxing 2 night stay in Prince Edward County where we could bring our dog, go for some snowy hikes, and visit a couple breweries. The Loyalist birdhouse was perfect! Easy communication with Ron and Dawn made check-in seamless. The property was cozy for a winter stay but with the lawn out front and cute little porch I imagine it would be a great summer stay as well. It was a short drive into Picton as well as hiking trails and breweries. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped and the rooms were spotless. I hope to stay here again and explore PEC more. p.s. highly recommend Prince Eddy's Brewing Co. They have a cool indoor loft where we could bring our dog so we could have a flight and stay out of the cold!
