Chalet qui aurait besoin d'un peu d'amour. Porte de douche qui ne ferme pas bien, lave- vaisselles non fonctionnel, mottes de cheveux dans le spa, etc... Bien localisé pour les skieurs qui ne veulent pas payer le gros prix.

The house itself was great! Comfy couches and beds, great internet. However, a proper working television in the main floor livingroom would have been nice rather than a DVD player we could not figure out. Another issue was a high pitch alarm a few times a day that went away when the toilet was flushed. Watered down handsoap:(; and I asked two times where the snowshoes were. A 5 star for location and the house itself - close to skiing and amenities, and the hottub was super after a day outdoors. I would recommend this place but please take into account my few issues and maybe address them. I also highly recommend an info booklet about the property itself.

L'endroit était propre et beaucoup plus grand que je le croyais. C'était vraiment bien pour la grandeur. Il ne manquait de rien sauf qu'à notre arrivée la télévision ne fonctionnait pas. Il n'y avait en fait aucun service de câblodistribution. Le soir même le propriétaire est venu nous porter un appareil qui fonctionne avec le WIFI. Je dirais que l'emplacement collé sur la 117 est un peu spéciale pour un chalet mais la vue dernière avec la rivière était magnifique. Très beau séjour globalement. Merci !

Close to Montreal and nature

Comfortable homey place. Well equipped kitchen. Fast internet. Off a main divided highway but house is well insulated so not too loud. Hot tub was broken but we could use one a couple of places down.

The space was nice and clean. Good size for two couples, two young children and an infant. We recommend you bring sandals if you plan to use the hot tub as you need to walk over large river stones to access it outside. Don't have high expectations for communication here. While we did receive 3 (what seemed automated) emails with information for check-in, check-out and request for us to review the place, the host did not respond to any messages from us sent by email, message in the VRBO app, or via text. All communications were in French despite claiming that they offer services in English and requesting details in English. The listing indicates there is a high chair making it "family friendly" however, there was none to be found and the host did not respond to our question when we asked for confirmation before leaving/checking in. The ad also indicates that xc skiing is 1min drive away but it is in fact a 12min drive. Also, the communications in French were a bit unclear for check out instructions for example: asking that we put all dishes in the dishwasher but also put them away before leaving or else you will be charged $100. Another example: they asked for the recycling and garbage to be placed in their designated spots with no indication on where that is (although we figured it out by looking around). Also, there were no instructions on how to use the gas fireplaces and there wasn't an obvious switch so we did not get to enjoy these.
