"It is a old hotel but they try and clean it well, a few minor remodeled stuff not a lot basic. The people were nice enough just really slow and do not stop what they are doing to check you in. The lady working the breakfast area was way too much hoovering every where yet doing nothing. Had to take syrup pan and pour syrup out, she finally came back out saw it was out while trying to get pot thing out fix it she dumped my syrup I had in a bowl on the floor. The biscuits were ice cold and gravy was like paste no flavor waste, no bread so no toast only 2 muffins left and no bagels, it was just not a great breakfast experience."

"My wife and I spent 2 days at the Antlers Inn in Golian and were quite impressed. The rooms were very clean, even the floor! The amenities were standard but available. The person running the hotel was quite hospitable and showed me around his garden. For the cost of the room we were quite impressed with the place. Definitely worth a revisit."

"This was an excellent venue and environment for my mother‘s 90th birthday party. It’s a beautiful historic decor that she loved. So many guests commented on its uniqueness and beauty.The party was a huge success, though there were a few hiccups from the party planner standpoint. The large tea brewing machine did not have the tea pods, nor was it functional. There were two coffee makers, one was not functional at all, thankfully the Bunn coffee maker was functional and brewed coffee very quickly so that we could quickly refill the coffee pump carafes that were provided. Unfortunately, only one of the pump carafes was functional, so we just had to keep a close eye and refill it whenever it got low. The door knob to one guest room fell off on the inside, briefly trapping the guest inside, but with only a short exploration and effort, we figured out how to get out. The four bags of ice that were promised were forgotten, so when we went to get the jugs of tea, we also got the bags of ice. All of these issues were easy to overcome, but in the flurry of last-minute preparations, a little bit frustrating. However, the party was absolutely everything we wanted it to be, and our mom felt so special. So while these were frustrating to us, they were invisible to everyone else."
