Welcome to Casa San Tommaso. A beautiful studio apartment in Praiano, situated in the heart of the world-renowned Amalfi coast. Located only 7 km from the glamorous Positano and a mere 6km’s from the former sea power Amalfi if peace, tranquility and a romantic getaway are what you’re searching for then look no further.
Praiano is situated along the coast, in-between Positano and Amalfi, parallel to the seafront, above and below the windy road runs directly through this small village. Beautiful and brightly coloured villas are built in clusters and are also scattered individually over the green rugged mountain cliffs that plummet into the deep blue Mediterranean. Buildings are built into the rock and flights of steps wind up and down between the buildings. The steps lead to the very top of the mountain and also directly into the dense sea. Dotted around are little beaches, small creeks, luminous grotto’s, a Paradise corner; for example the seashore of La Praia.

The apartment has all you need for an unforgettable stay. It's fully air-conditioned, a fully equipped kitchen, and a breathtaking terrace overlooking the coast. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more photos.

There are no words that can portray this zen like experience. A private huge outdoor patio with views that change throughout the day. Pasquale and Giovanna are amazing hosts having gone above and beyond ensuring you have a great stay sharing information on buses, beach access, stores and and even providing us with an umbrella as it might rain. The unit was extremely clean and well stocked . Amazing stay, sad to go but will absolutely return.

Giovanna and Pasquale where the greatest hosts we have ever encounter in all our travels!! They were very helpful answering all our questions before we arrive and were able to set up a driver from Naples to Praina. They helped usin every way possible to make it a trip of a lifetime!!

Tranquil hideaway with a beautiful roof terrace, Giovanna and Pasquale could not do more to ensure we had a wonderful stay and help with essential advice on how best to enjoy the Amalfi Coast. Excellent restaurants within walking distance.

Loved the place. Balcony looking over the sea was perfect for sun rises, sunsets, yoga, sun bathing, breakfasts, dinners, drying clothes and general hanging out. So beautiful. Happy too that we stayed in Praiano. We visited Amalfi and Positano, but glad we stayed here and away from the busy-ness. Good access to activities also - One Fire beach club, Travel-Mar boat to Amalfi, Path of the Gods. Giovanna was really lovely and very helpful with whatever we needed.

Perfect Stay!

This apartment is PERFECT!! If you want the beauty of the Amalfi Coast without all the craziness of tourists, then Praiano is for you! The Apartment and Hosts are amazing. The views? OmG!! With all that said if you cannot climb a flight of stairs, you may need to look somewhere else..

Beautiful view

This studio was exactly as promised, with an unbelievable view. The best part was the hosts, Giovanna and Pasquale. They were more than helpful getting us last minute transportation when out DayTrip airport transfer bailed because our flight was delayed. They were so helpful and friendly and really saved our vacation. They showed us how the bus systems worked and gave great suggestions on where to eat and places to visit.

Fabulous stay in Amazing Apartment

This apartment is in a fabulous location with a stunning view. The owners are incredibly helpful and so lovely. We arrived late after being stuck in traffic jams and they kindly waited for us down on the road and were so amazing to help carry our bags from the car and then along the pathway to the stairs which lead down to the apartment - of which there are quite a few! It was worth the walk as the spectacular view from the terrace is nothing short of amazing. There is a bus back down on the road that takes you to both Amalfi and Positano as well as a couple of grocery shops and some fabulous restaurants- our favourite being Kasia - which comes highly recommended and is worth the walk. Walking and lots of steps is common place on the amalfi coast so be prepared! It was wonderful to arrive back at the apartment each afternoon after being out exploring and to sit on the terrace and enjoy the view. Our dog loved it as well. A great stay. Thanks you.

Slice of paradise

This property was exactly as advertised and was a perfect spot for my wife and I to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We wanted to be in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, but not constantly surrounded by crowds. Praiano was perfect, and this studio apartment with a large, glorious patio overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and the coastline of Amalfi was simply wonderful. It had a kitchen, which we used to cook all breakfasts, some lunches, and three dinners, in eight nights. It was very easy walking distance from two excellent restaurants, and a small market. Also it was a short walk to a bus stop that serves two local bus systems and a longer walk to a bus stop that serves the SITA bus. Location was great. King size bed was great. AC was very good. I cannot thing of anything negative to say about this apartment, and it has my highest recommendation. Of course, as with everywhere on the Amalfi Coast, you have to be mobile and have the ability to do lots of stairs and ramps. We walked down to the beach every day, and by the end of the week, it seemed a lot easier than it did on the first day. The hosts, Giovanna and Pasquale, are wonderful people who will do all within their power to make sure you have a comfortable and enjoyable visit to Praiano. I give this place 5 out of 5 stars.

AMAZING!!!

This property falls nothing short of spectacular! Not to mention our host and hostess...Giovanni and Pasquale♡ The property, the view, the cleanliness 10/10. And everytime we needed guidance in our stay, Giovanni and Pasquale were available to help us. And to top our stay off, Giovanni baked and delivered a beautiful chocolate cake with strawberries for Mothers Day. You wil not find more sweet, personable hosts. Beautiful stay...beautiful people. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at Casa! We will most definitely return!♡♡ Ps....come with strong legs!

Beautiful location

The view from the studio is breathtaking. Our hosts are such lovely people and were always available for any questions, tips, even just for a stroll around the neighborhood 😊 Praiano is a quiet little town but easily accessible to neighboring villages on the coast. We had a wonderful stay.

Small , beautiful ,intimate

The hosts of the place were absolutely kind & respectful. My husband and I stayed here for my 32 birthday arrived from the us our phones weren’t working , however made attempts from numerous folks phones in passing to dial the 2 numbers provided no answer but luckily found a local to lead us to the casa. The host however showed evidence of trying to reach us via Vrbo but phones were not working so we tried as mentioned contacting them via the local individuals phones. Anyhow once we moved past that everything went great . It’s definitely a very clean casa made in my opinion for no more than a couple, which was ideal for us . We loved all of the stair climbing as we like staying in shape anyway. The only other thing I would say is that the hosts live right underneath the apartment so there is a little bit of a lack of privacy especially if you sit out on balcony. They didn’t come bothering us or anything but it was just a lack of privacy in a sense. FYI the internet sporadically worked but only outdoors. Host mentioned it will be getting looked at which I’m sure it will be ok for the next guests … also normally all of the fees are built into the price & once we arrived we were prompted to pay additional 66$ which was fine but we’re hoping to have paid everything via Vrbo .

Best Holiday Ever

This property is so beautiful. The views are spectacular! The hosts are incredible; so very helpful and sweet. You will not only fall in love with the area, but the hosts as well. I will give one word of caution. The terraine of Praiano is not for the faint of heart or weak. Getting to and from the apartment is challenging but if you can physically do it, its well worth the effort. We stayed for 4 days..i wish it were longer, but the memories will last forever.

Amalfi Paradise

This place did not disappoint! It was exactly as pictured and described. Perfect accomodations! The serene view from the patio is exactly what we were looking for. The flat was very clean, and had everything we needed. The big bonus was meeting Giovanna and Pasquale. What SPECIAL PEOPLE!! They really helped make our stay more enjoyable and we are blessed to know them 💜. They had excellent restaurant and activity recommendations, and helped tremendously with our transportation. We so appreciate all of their input, advice, and accommodations. We will most certainly want to stay there again.

A week in paradise

One of the best places to stay on earth! Praiano and the area are just incredible, we had a wonderful time here. The studio is great and the terrasse is stunning! Giovanna and Pasquale are very helpful and kind, it was fun talking with them and learn about history of the place. I recommend it all the way!

Both Pasquali & Giovanna were the most gracious and helpful hosts. The property is amazing and has the most breathtaking view. They even help you walk if you can’t!!! Hopefully we will see them again. Thanks for all that you have done for us.

Relaxing accommodation with a stunning view

Our four night stay at Pasquale and Giovanna’s studio was perfect. Our goal was to find an accommodation where we could escape the hustle and fully relax in the sun after a couple of weeks of busy honeymoon travel prior. This place was exactly that. We enjoyed some of the local restaurants (highly recommend M’AMA and KASAI) while also cooking a few meals for ourselves. We spent the bulk of our days up on the beautiful deck basking in the sun, enjoying the view and went down to the sea a couple of times to enjoy the poolside restaurant/beach club (IL PIRATA) and to go for a swim. The hosts were fantastic as they were welcoming, arranged a taxi from Praiano to Naples for us and even delivered tiramisu.

The location is perfect, short walk from local shops, restaurants, bars. Gorgeous apartment, perfectly clean and amazing sea views, the facilities were everything we needed! Nice apartment with great ocean view

Comfortable, clean, and well equipped studio. Beautiful veranda with ocean view! Quiet neighborhood and close to a few restaurants. Very near a little and well stocked market. Easy communication with host.
