"This was my second stay, returning after three years and my stay was even better than the first. The staff were superb. There was a weather incident upcoming during my stay and they were very knowledgeable. Also it was just nice to talk about living there rather than the usual hostel talk. The beds were good and comfortable. Having a curtain really shuts you away and gives a good sleep. So very happy for that. Always loved the breakfast spread. It's so unique and if you need a reason to stay here, this is a good one."

"The host was fabulous. She greeted us warmly, walked us through the apartment and made sure we knew about all it had to offer. There were nice friendly touches like fresh apples and big bottles of filtered water. Her communication was excellent and always prompt. Bonuses for us were; 1) she gave us a card for 10% off a great restaurant next door, and 2) she secured a transportation for us to our next destination (1 hr away) that was safe, friendly and cost effective. Paula was lovely. She went above and beyond."

"Really enjoyed the space and the backyard - good location and walking distance to the beach and tons of restaurants. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook which is always nice, they even allowed you to use their washer which is great especially being on long trips! The ONLY I wouldn't even say negative (this is always up to preference) is the beds were very hard. "

"Really nice house as advertised. Plenty of nice towels etc.. Also the hosts (Rental Valley) were first class. Gas bottles were replaced immediately when we needed them. When we (stupidly) locked ourselves out of the house Inge at the office got straight back to us to say she would sort it and Anna, the local host, was there in less than an hour on a Sunday afternoon to let us in. Thank you! "

"Nice place. Two small bedrooms and two full baths, all in excellent condition. Air condition in each room works great. TV has good selection of channels and is internet connected. Kitchen well stocked for a short visit. No iron or ironing board (which is surprising) or washer. Walkout patio was very nice but the pool is ridiculously small and legitimately for two people-it looks much bigger in the photos than in reality. Unfortunately, only one lounge chair for four people, but supposedly that is being replaced (since it was noted in other review, should have been replaced before our arrival). If the price is right, worthwhile stay. VRBO lists this as all-in pricing but then when you pay there’s an overpriced cleaning fee (for such a small place). Sagres is very small so location is somewhat irrelevant and you can easily drive to everything. "
