「Honestly when I read the reviews about this place after my husband booked, I was very sceptical. People said it was dirty, had cockroaches, no hot water. None of this was true. About the hot water, you must realize that water heaters in Europe are half the size of North American ones. We had plenty of hot water. The only thing we didn't like are the beds are a little hard but it was the same at the previous place we stayed. We made do. Also tile floors are always cold which I'm not fond of but...

We were told we would be greeted by the manager of the apartment, but never saw him although my husband had several talks with him. There was no paperwork welcoming us to the complex and what was available or what was not like no WiFi. We didn't figure out the lights in the hallway until we had been there several days. The furniture was very old and uncomfortable. There were few linens...

「Spacious 1 bedroom apartment with gorgeous views from the balconies of the ocean and rocks. Just off the main street that runs along the beach, so it’s steps from numerous restaurants and bars. A supermarket is also nearby for times when you want to cook in the kitchen, which has a stove, microwave, coffeemaker, and full size fridge. The coffeemaker is nice for having morning coffee on the balcony and looking out at the ocean.」

「We were two couples traveling together looking for a place with separate bedrooms and bathrooms. This fit the bill and included a million dollar view. It's an older place and comes with some issues that the owners promptly attended to. We drove to the Algarves and the apt included an underground parking spot! Grace and Alfredo were lovely and so helpful.」

「A very comfortable apartment walking distance from the beach and the pier (with ferries to nearby towns). The only (small) thing we didn't like was that the shower leaked too much water - if the lip on the base was a bit higher this might help.
