Peleș Castle is a Neo-Renaissance castle in the Carpathian Mountains, near Sinaia, in Prahova County, Romania, on an existing medieval route linking Transylvania and Wallachia, built between 1873 and 1914. Its inauguration was held in 1883. It was constructed by King Carol I. #Blue #BestOfMyTown
Cantacuzino Castle is situated on Zamora Street in Bușteni, Romania. The building, whose construction was completed in 1911, was conducted by the architect Gregory Cerchez at the request of Prince George Grigore Cantacuzino. It is built in Neo-Romanian style; the total surface of the estate is over 3,000 square meters. The castle belonged to the Cantacuzino family until the forced nationalization of 1948, when it became a sanatorium for the Ministry of Internal Affair. During the communist period, the original furniture was removed and a part of the interior walls were painted over. After 1989, the castle was returned to Cantacuzino descendants, who sold it to private investors in 2004.

Well, it is an extraordinary dessert, you can combine it with many types of delicious Romanian homemade jams and it lights up my day whenever I taste it. Best place to try it: Robinson Hotel in Predeal, 10, Muncii Street – the best and largest Papanaşi of my life! Suggestion: My favourite jam for Papanaşi is sour cherry jam. Remember also that the more sour cream, the better! Just imagine soaking your piece of dough in the fresh sour cream combined with the caramelised jam... Mmmm...' #delicious P.S. 時期にもよると思うが、コストパフォーマンスに優れる。入り口が階段になっており、スーツケースが重いと大変かもしれない。山側の部屋で見晴らしも良かった。朝食も豊富だった。

Sinaia is a beautiful town, with loads to do and a great atmosphere and very nice restaurants. The mountains are amazing and great for walking, the castles are great as was the casino in the park. Our host and accommodation was excellent and would not hesitate to visit/stay again.

What does this rock in the Bucegi Mountains of Romania remind you of? Yup, that's right! The Egyptian Sphinx 😊 Every year, on November 28, hundreds of people meet at the Sphinx at sunset, when the gentle rays of sun go down forming a magical pyramid around the statue, which is believed to emit positive energy ✨ But this weirdly shaped rock is object of many other legends. Some say that the Egyptian and the Romanian Sphinxes are somehow linked by a tunnel of time and that the Egyptian were inspired by the shape of this rock. Some people claim that an ancient civilization carved this rock to represent some sort of supreme god. Others say that the Sphinx on top of Bucegi Mountains is evidence of the existence of an alien civilization that would have left behind several constructions, including this one 😊 I love to learn this kind of legends 😊 and you? #nature #romania #bucegi
