「This is a really nice property on acreage, so you have privacy and quiet which is really important to us. You just need to understand that it's just outside of Big Bay so any real dining choices will require you to go to Marquette. It was perfect for us since we tend to cook our meals and perfectly clean.」

「My friends and I came away very pleased with our no-frills wilderness camping on Rod's property. He has the best view of the Huron Mtns I've seen, with a better perspective on the south faces than Pt Abbaye. They really lit up in the sun with peak color all over. We also loved his sweet dog Max, who quickly pivoted from intimidating bark at strangers to "dare you to try to take my stick" playfulness in seconds.I would go back in a heartbeat, but I did take off 1 star for listing accuracy only...

「We had family stay here for our son’s wedding this weekend. This place fit us all and was very cozy and clean. Plenty of linens and kitchenware. Perfect for 8 people. It was an 85 day on Saturday, and unfortunately the house did get pretty warm upstairs at night. But there were fans in all the rooms, so we made it work. Perfect walking distance from downtown. We would rent again!」
