We got stuck in a snowstorm driving home from upstate and this hotel came to the rescue! We had 2 large dogs with us but were please the dog friendly room was not gross (sometimes they are nasty!!) but clean and quiet. The breakfast from the menu was really good- we were laughing because it was tastier than some of our meals in "fancy" places upstate. The whole staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Good hot water pressure in the shower and the bed and pillows were quite comfortable.

My husband and I spent the night at the Hilton Garden Inn for one night and initially our stay was great. Check-in was seamless and our room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Unfortunately, I woke up around 2 am to the sound of drip (on the nightstand) from a small ceiling leak in the corner of the room. My husband woke up around 530am to an unfathomable amount of water pouring out of the bathroom ceiling and at least an inch of water on the tile floor. The carpet was drenched and at this point even the side of the bed was wet! We voiced our concerns to the front desk and were told this was a known issue and affected all the rooms in this particular line. Instead of offering to have our room switched, we were offered Honors points. I understand this is an uncontrollable circumstance but the response was very nonchalant. We certainly didn't want to end our stay and drive home at 6AM on a Saturday morning but we did. Ultimately, we received an emailed apology and rewards points, less the value of what the room cost for the night- But our weekend was certainly derailed

Convenient to highways, with multiple local dining options, but there are many hotels in the same area. For me, what sets this hotel apart is that it is almost always quiet. In addition, it is clean, solid, and non-cheesy. The front desk staff has always been friendly and helpful. These offset the chief annoyance of the Hilton chain, which is that they are always trying to extract more money from you in the form of fees. I avoid these by using my phone for internet and getting breakfast at the nearby Red Line Diner. However, it is still annoying that they are always after more money.

Have stayed here many times b/c it is up to date, clean, and quiet. This time, one of the two elevators was out-of-order, which was a pain. The only downside is the endless nickel-and-diming by Hilton, trying to get you to pay extra fees (unless you are a "diamond" member); e.g., for breakfast, better wi-fi, etc. It's annoying. It's nice that they have a little self-service convenience mart, but they rape you on those items also.

The staff was the greatest element of our stay, they were truly fantastic. Professional, friendly and personable, especially Peter at the front desk - and Johny the bartender. The facilities were clean and well-maintained with the exception that the Jacuzzi had been in operable for several months, including while we were there and the hotel was undergoing an overhaul on their water system, shutting off the water from 11 to 4 during the day that we were there. This caused some discomfort and a minor hardship but overall the day was good.
