Llegué a la ciudad y al lugar del hotel pero no había ningún hotel allí.
La gente de la zona dijo que cerraron hace un tiempo y quedé sin alojamiento.
Realmente un perjuicio
This hotel is in the heart of Potosi, close to the main churches, museums and great restaurants, as well as the popular market. There are also banks with ATM machines and anything a tourist needs for having a good time. When I arrived to the hotel I was so surprised that I asked if they had not made a mistake with the rate. The cost/quality relation is awesome.
Breakfast is simple but enough, with fruits, cereals, juices, teas and coffee as well as eggs and toasts with cheese and ham It is included in the rate of the room.
Kindness of the personnel is representative of the native Andean people.
The hotel is clean as new, rooms are comfortable and silent, and just going out you will be in the heart of the old traditional town.
I really liked the Hostal Patrimonio. The staff was very friendly. The building is in good condition and has a glass-covered courtyard which is really nice, particularly in the rainy season. The location is perfect. Right in in the center of Potosi. The room was good, although not in perfect condition. I would tell travelers one thing about getting a cab in Potosi: give yourself extra time. The hotel receptionist was fantastic at trying to get me a cab, but the roads were blocked in downtown. She called three times but the cab was delayed. So, the hotel is great, but watch out for traffic going out of central Potosi.

Nettes Personal, Hotel sehr hellhörig.Frühsücksbuffet mit sehr wenig Auswahl.Gute Lage.
The hotel was very clean and the toiletries provided was actually very good. They even had little ear cleaners and shoe polish in little packages for you in your room.
Great location, clean. Discotheque across the street was noisy but only tul about 11:00 pm.

The receptionist, about 25 years old, should have gone to the hospitality school instead of the military school.
I arrived sick and was requesting for a pill and she very rudely denied it to me and did not even offer a solution for that. I called again that night telling her my cousin will come to visit me bringing medicine and she denied again and treated my cousin like a criminal. She complained to the manager and he took long time to arrive to solve the situation, by then I was already worst and feeling I needed to go to the hospital but couldn't move from my bed. Finally the manager arrived and let my cousin in my room. Next day the same receptionist was there, rude as always with a never smiling face not even trying to be nice for a second.
This behaviour should be punished and such people never hired to deal with customers for obvious reasons. The only good thing about this hotel is its great location in the heart of the marvelous city of Potosi.
The room was nice and clean, quiet and with great house keeping service. Other than that, I would never stay again in this place neither recommend it to anybody I know. Shame on the receptionist and worst on the people hiring the wrong employees or not training them properly.
This was one of the 'better' hotels in Potosi but honestly it's overpriced for what it is. The public toilet was out of order and the sauna not working despite it being one of the advertised services. Apparently it's been a while it has been out of order. The room itself, whilst quiet, was gloomy and unwelcoming. However the worst part is that first of all no curtain on the door half of which was a window. So we had to use a towel to cover up the door for privacy and so we didnt have the courtyard light coming into the room at night. And the worst is that we had the bathroom window of our neighbour in our bedroom!! Meaning that everytime they went into the bathroom all the light came into our room right into our lights in bed. What a stupid set up! There was of course no curtain either. And on top of that every time our neighbours went into the bathroom we heard the ventilation very loudly. Our neighbours went to bed after us, and got up way before us, and spent an extensive time in the bathroom so we had to deal with that light and ventilation for a long time. HOnestly it's one of the worst rooms i've ever stayed in. Then the service was pretty slow, had to wait a long time for toilet paper, had to fetch the hairdryer myself from reception, rather than them bring it (because no hairdryers in the room). Honestly if it was a cheap hostel I would get it, but this was supposed to be a decent hotel of a good standing.
Two blocks from the main Sucre Plaza, Patrimonial is ideally situated. That's not even mentioning it's own street which has great restaurants & a superb chocolate shop. Across from the hotel is a small university campus, so the street had a young and very safe vibe. Away from the Plaza, the street also leads up to the Recoleta mirador & museum.
It was quiet when I stayed (4 nights), and the staff at reception & breakfast could not be more friendlier or helpful. My room was large and well appointed, bed very comfortable, plenty of hanging space, TV worked well & Wifi never failed. The shower could be problematic at times, as hot really only amounted to tepid.
Don't forget to head up to the roof where the hotel has its own mirador, with great views over the city and surrounds.
For the cheap price I paid, I could not have been more satisfied . I would definitely stay again. Great city, great hotel.
Being central to most I wanted to explore in Potosi - Central Market, Plaza, La Monera Museum, decent restaurants & tour companies made my 2 night stay at Hostal Patrimonial a pretty good time. The Hostal really is a Hotel with rooms on 3 levels (no elevator at 4000m please note). Nice open Central section to the hotel gives it an airy and bright feel. Morning reception staff did not speak English, afternoon staff did. No problems with check in however. My room was fine - bed comfortable, shower worked well as did television and Wifi. The in-room safe was inoperable however. One downer was the staff somehow mixed up and forgot to clean my room - no disaster and they were profusely apologetic and sorted the issue immediately. All in all a good stay - very handy to all major sites. I would stay again.
Muy lindo hotel, acorde precio calidad, muy amables, volvería a hospedarme. Renovaria la blanqueria.

Ok in potosi
It is a stretch to give this place a three. The one problem was our room had a glass block windo into the other rooms bathroom. So when they when tothe bathroom showered etc it lite up our room. Breakfast was not good either. Place has a good location. Close to plaza and walking street. Room was good size and had hair stuff.but remember you are in potosi. Not sure what would be better in town.
Hostal decadente. Mal gestionado.
