The family owned hotel people were the best. Always with a happy greeting, glad to help with anything. Restaurant reservations, personal drivers, taxi’s and recommendations for places to visit. Loved our room, view, breakfast prompt in the morning, bar in hotel. We are really looking forward to returning to our hotel soon.

We were super impressed with this hotel. I wasn’t sure what to expect based on pictures, so I was pleasantly surprised with the rooms, service and overall stay. The location was perfect. The staff was friendly. They arranged private transportation for us which went great as well!

Very good 5 night stay

Wonderful hotel setting with views to the west from every balcony. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and a delicious breakfast pre ordered the night before and served on the balcony. Location is ideal for walking both up and down in the town ( lots of steps are inevitable wherever you stay ). Wifi is too patchy to stream but worked fine for emails. Very happy with the choice.

This is a beautiful hotel! The location is wonderful, took us 10 minutes to take the stairs to the beach/town center or the bus picks up right outside, the drivers will tell you where to get off and it’s an affordable option. The rooms are beautiful, we got one with a spa on the patio and couldn’t have enjoyed it more! We can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful view from bedroom, very clean, attentive staff. No restaurant but breakfast order delivered to room for eating on balcony. There are c480 steps down to beach but we found it easier to return by walking up most of the way by road

Decent 3 star hotel with a few issues

The good: The hotel is VERY clean. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the common areas. We also liked the location and the balcony in our room. The walk up to the hotel from the port/beach is very daunting especially with luggage, but that’s an issue in Positano as a whole. The A/C worked well in the room, which was a huge plus for us during an extremely hot time of year The not so good: The walls are incredibly thin. We could hear everything in the rooms next door and in the hallways. We were stuck next to some noisy families so it was pretty loud throughout our stay. We were also pretty disappointed by the lack of working wifi. Not sure if the wifi was only working in certain areas, but it didn’t work AT ALL for us during our stay. We were also disappointed by the up-charge for cooked eggs for breakfast. Having to give our key to the front desk every day before leaving the hotel was kind of weird as well. And it would have been nice to have some help from the front desk to help arrange a porter service for our bags.

This hotel is like B&B and truly a hotel. Bathroom showers does not have door and after the shower the entire bathroom gets water all over the place. This is the only hotel I ever stayed does not give tissue paper. The hotel is not at a convenient place from the beach . The real problem we had at the front desk people were not very helpful. It is over priced and I will not stay there again.

Not what I expected but a good hotel nonetheless.

Quaint little hotel with first impressions being a little under whelming. As you spend time here you develop appreciation for it because you realize you don’t spend very much time in the hotel and if you smoke cigars the view and balcony are second to none. The staff is accommodating Beds although they appear uncomfortable is comfortable although it’s just a series of twin size beds connected to each other. Positano is meant to be spent outdoors 4 of the 5 days we were there rained but we still made the most of it and the hotel provided us with a place to sleep and see the views. The hotel itself is no frills but they do their best to provide with genera service. Quite frankly while the price point of $408 per night doesn’t appear as cheap Peres it is cheap for positano. So adjust your expectations slightly and you will love it and all it’s charm. Paolo is the best. I couldn’t imagine my trip without him there at the desk because he spoke some Spanish which made it easier to communicate.

All was great , hotel is in a nice location that we liked a lot , I put 4 star for Staff , just because the lady at the reception was a little too serious and argumentative, although she was helpful and at the end didn’t charge us for water , but we were afraid of asking her for anything!! The younger lady was super nice and friendly, in general we are happy and pleased.
