Lovely sea and mountain views, spacious Portree home

Welcome to this spacious and comfortable home. This house has beautiful views over the sea and the mountains. There are four large bedrooms (one king, two double and a large twin). There are three bathrooms, one ensuite. A kitchen diner is very well equipped with cooking equipment as well as a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. There is a separate dining area for eight with views over the bay, and a lounge where you can enjoy a cosy woodburner, and watch the changing light over the water and mountains as the tides move in and out. Outside there is seating area and a garden. Portree is a lively and picturesque place, with a busy harbour, plenty of shops and restaurants, and surrounded by seascapes, mountains and countryside. There is a woodland and hillside walk straight from our house, as well as beautiful coastal walks from Portree, which is just 10 minutes walk away. Portree is a good base from which the explore the Isle of Skye. The Old Man of Storr is a short drive away, as well as the famous Cuillin and there are other lesser known but beautiful places nearby. There is a good selection of restaurants and pubs in Portree, some offering Celtic music and locally sourced food, as well as an indoor swimming pool, indoor climbing wall and small cinema. so things to do on rainy days as well as sunny ones.
