2 nuits à Porto

Appartement nickel avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour. Il y a des ventilateurs. La vue est agréable vue sur le Douro et le quartier Ribeira. Le propriétaire mais à disposition un plateau avec un peu de porto. Sympa. Je recommande

Super location

It has been a little hard to find, but the host really helped us navigate the city and the apartment was good. Beds are on the hard side and I don’t think there is air conditioning, but the air in Porto is fresh so one could leave the windows a bit open. The location is really great!!!

Très bonne location, propre, spacieuse, fonctionnelle, très bien située pour tout faire à pieds, bénéficiant aussi d une superbe vue ! Terrasse extérieure très appréciée ! Bon rapport qualité prix. Merci à Pedro pour sa disponibilité à répondre à nos interrogations. Transfert aéroport/appartement, proposé lors de la reservation, vraiment efficace ! Nous recommandons vivement cette location!

Fabulous host, but apartment needs attention!

We have stayed at a number of VRBOs around the world, and this is the hardest review I've ever had to write because Pedro, the host, is just terrific, but the apartment, itself is not. Pedro is kind and exceedingly helfpful. He left a carafe of Port wine for us, and because he is a tour guide, had lists of things to do, restaurants, and more. He almost always responded to texts immediately, and his recommendations for a wine shop and dinner were excellent. The apartment is on the Douro River with fabulous views of the city. It is spacious and generally clean. Unfortunately, there were issues that I didn't communicate to Pedro because they weren't things that could be fixed while we were there. First, the photo of the view that caused me to book is misleading because it is taken from a much higher floor; the apartment is on the ground level. It was rainy and chilly the week we spent there, and the apartment was really cold, even with the heaters at the highest setting and use of the space heater in the living room. Other VRBOs in Portugal had inverter heaters that worked well, and we hope Pedro considers this option. The biggest problem was the mildew. The apartment was damp and mildew was everywhere--living room and kitchen ceilings, shower curtain, and couches and chairs. A loud automatic air freshener spurted every 20 minutes but it didn't solve the problem. With allergies and asthma, it was extremely unpleasant, and I hope Pedro can remediate this soon.

Schöne Wohnung mit fantastischer Aussicht auf die Altstadt, Porto den Duoro, Ponte Dom Luis

Vom Erstkontakt bis zum Abflug steht Pedro und seine Frau Rosario mit Freude und zuverlässig hilfsbereit zur Seite. Ein sehr sympathischer Vermieter, hoch engagiert, interessiert mit viel Herzblut. Was wir nicht wussten: Pedro ist von Beruf Touristguide. Also wer gerne auch geführt Porto und Umgebung besichtigt, unbedingt buchen! Pedro liebt sein Land uns seine Stadt und weiss, so macht es den Eindruck alles über die Geschichte Portugals und Porto. Er hat viele Tips , ein unglaubliches Wissen und Zuhören ist faszinierend und sehr interessant. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen. Alles zu Fuss erreichbar. Wer lieber mit dem ÖV unterwegs ist hat Metro und Busse in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Wir waren zu Vier in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einkaufsläden und Bäckerei in der Nähe. Porto ist eine wunderschöne Stadt. Wir hatten 4 Tage gebucht. Einige der sehr tollen Tipps von Pedro konnten wir umsetzen. Es gäbe aber noch so viel mehr zu sehen, entdecken und geniessen. Wir werden ganz sicher wiederkommen. Danke Pedro und Rosario für Eure grosse Unterstützung.

Dificultad para acceder. Lindo departamento. Básico equipamiento.

Muy difícil acceder con las valijas ya que hay que bajar 4 pisos, lo peor es subir. El equipamiento muy básico. La vista es muy linda y el departamento también. El wifi no funciona en los cuartos y muy bajo en el living.

Tolle Lage, tolle Sicht , geräumige Zimmer, portugiesisch möbliert, Möwen kreisen, auch für Kinder spielgerecht und sicher , welcher Vermieter holt einen schon vom Bahnhof ab und bringt einen wieder hin (kostenlos !) gute Tips für Porto von Insider, Wir haben es genossen . Danke!

great location, great host, great value

We stayed with two teenagers for 5 nights in Apartment No1 (lowest, but still very nice views on Porto through all windows!). Good location, quiet neigbourhood, walking distance (keep in mind it's Porto, so with lots of stairs and up/down hill) to port cellars, Ponte Luis I and city centre across the bridge (Sao Bento Railway station), metro and Gaia/General Torres Railway for train to Southern beaches. Apartment was spacious, clean, fully equiped. Very friendly and helpfull owner.

Good place to stay close to Porto's old town city centre

We had a nice week at the No.1 riverplace appartments. The flat is very spacious and clean and only a short walk away from the river Douro and the famous iron bridge. Pedro is very helpful and available via email with super short response times. Since the appartment is located close to everything do not expect it to be deadly silient, e. g. you hear the sounds from the venues right and left to the river, when you open the window. But if you close the window shutters, it is dark and quiet enough for a good sleep. There is also a patio that belongs to the appartment but has to be shared with guests from two other appartments, e. g. there is no private balcony belonging to the appartment like one of the pictures suggests.

Excellent location

We were two adults and two teenage boys. We loved the flat! Close to everything you would want to see in Porto. The owner, Pedro, provides a great service pointing out on an easily followed tourist map where the best place we're to go

Traumhafte Aussichten

Die Ferienwohnung ist zentral und ruhig gelegen; nur die Möwen hört man in der Nacht. Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung; auch die Fotos sind authentisch. Trotz großer Hitze war es sehr kühl in den Räumen. Alles haben wir sehr sauber vorgefunden. Gerne wieder!

Spacious, with great views of Porto

Nice location with terrific views of Porto from every window. A little bit out of the fray, but convenient, with reasonable parking around the corner. Not for those with mobility issues—several staircases to reach the front door. If you’re fit, it’s an excellent choice!

fijn appartement met prachtig uitzicht

Porto com encanto

Boa localização, 300 m temos a ponte D. Luis I , vistas espetaculares. Quanto ao apartamento, bom apartamento , que merecia mais e pede mais, necessita de renovação pintura de paredes , papel de parede na sala já fez a sua época , as carpetes sem sentido, bem como a decoração muito ultrapassada , o apartamento em geral a necessitar de uma boa renovação. Contudo as roupas de cama estavam imaculadas e limpeza geral muito bem, incluindo a cozinha e casa de banho.

Great location- great value!

In my opinion, this is a perfect spot to stay in Porto. It is easy to cross either the lower or upper bridges to arrive at My Riverplace and then have the best views looking back at Porto. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet after 10:00. The apartment suited our needs perfectly. There was Port wine on our arrival and coffee fixings for the next morning. Pedro greeted us warmly and gave us valuable information for our needs. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Excellent séjour avec de bons conseils de Pedro pour visiter Porto

L'appartement correspond vraiment bien à la description sur le site de Homelidays. La vue est assez unique et tous les services sont assez proches. Nous n'avons pas eu de difficultés à trouver un espace public de stationnement dans la rue pour notre auto. comme l'appartement est bien situé, nous avons préféré utiliser le métro, les autobus et le tramway pour nous déplacer et facilement visiter Porto. Merci Pedro, tu es une personne vraiment sympathique.

Appartement parfait avec vue fantastique sur le Douro et le quartier de Ribeira

Superbe appartement, décoré avec goût et parfaitement équipé. Il est situé à Vila Nova de Gaia, juste à proximité du métro, du pont Dom Luis et des nombreux chais de porto. Restaurants et supermarché également très proches. Vue fantastique depuis l'appartement sur le Douro et le quartier de Ribeira. Pedro est un hôte extrêmement accueillant, prévenant et serviable. Nous le remercions encore et reviendrons avec grand plaisir à Porto.

Amazing view, terrific host

The pictures don't do the view justice. It's just jaw dropping. Pedro is a great host -- he provides a detailed map and a great route to follow to see Porto, and loads of recommendations for things to see and places to eat. The apartment is comfortable, quaint, and in a safe neighborhood. The parking (included) is close by and there's even a washer. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
