The Douro House is set within a group of "islands" in the center of Porto that have recently been renovated.
These islands emerged in the 18th century, but it was in the 19th century, with the industrial development, that many migrants from the Northern regions of the country made this type of housing more common in the city.
Guests will have access to a gated community.
The Douro House is exclusively for the use of guests staying in it.
