A very good place to stay and a great location for the fabulous beach, albeit a 20 minute walk to the centre of Alvor. The staff at the accommodation are superb and it is very good value.

Amazing Alvor

Loved the location , minutes from the beach and the views from the room. We could hear the waves at night ! Staff were wonderful - so friendly and helpful. Pool is fab and a real bonus . Walks along the beach are stunning and Alvor is a very pretty place . Drinks and gardens at the nearby hotel were lovely too. Thank you so much

The staff was so nice and friendly. We ended up staying an additional night. I'm sure there are fancier hotels but we loved the location, ease of parking, kitchenette and grocery on property. Also grateful for a lift after bringing luggage up so many stairs at other stays.

Very nice little studio, with view on the sea, and 2min walk from it. Perfect location to explore the nearby beach, cliffs and caves, or to walk or run on the long boardwalk. Decent size space, though lacking kitchen cleaning supplies (only a hand towel provided). Indoor pool and sauna, and a small laundry room made this experience even more enjoyable. Would stay again!

Property was welcoming, by staff who were very willing to assist. Parking was good. Room was comfortable and clean. However the place generally needs some attention. Bed linen was fine but bathroom towels were very worn and thin. We would stay again as it was good value for money.

The hotel was in its off season so it was under going some upgrades but they didn’t intrude on customers comfort. Truth is the area is so nice I didn’t spend much time in the hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but tired. The building next door looked like it was having a full renovation and hopefully this building will as well in due course. Hopefully they will also improve their soundproofing as you could hear next door talking and doors being closed. Unfortunately, the hotel seemed to be having an issue with small fly infestation and although they sprayed and hoovered them away, they would be back instantly. Location was OK and taxi fares to main resorts (Alvor and Portimao) were very reasonable.

Enjoyed my stay, staff was friendly, grocery store near by was very convenient as well as the restaurants on beach and the continental breakfast at the sister hotel. Room was as good as advertised My only compliant is housekeeping only cleaned my room once in the 5 days I stayed there. Other than that it was great and I’d visit again!

We loved the home away from home feel of this hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. The location is unbeatable. With direct access to the most pristine beaches, with explorable caves. Indoor/ outdoor pool. A market in the parking lot with anything you could need, including a fresh bakery. A short walk to bowling, restaurants- or take the trolley into town which is only a 3-5 minutes drive. So many restaurants, cafes and shops. It’s perfect.

Great place direct to the beach!

Great place to stay to be right at the beach. Nice outdoor pool area, however, it’s not near the apartment. One has to walk a few minutes, not bad. Only complaints are: 1) there are reserved parking for guests. The parking lot is also used by locals and tourists going to the beach. So it can get difficult to find a parking spot. 2) They have a very low inventory of beach towels. Every time I asked for one they had run out. So I had to go back to the apartment to get one of the big towels. Not ideal since it became dirty with sand etc, so I only had one for the shower during my stay. Despite these small inconveniences, I would return to this place if ever I travel again to the Algarve region.

The room was not sound proof with noise and light coming through the door from the halleay. Appliance in the kitchen was limited. Location is very convenient with beach just a few steps away.

I was just surprised because when i booked i thought it was a condo style and not a hotel room. That being said, staff was nice, room was renovated for the most part. Tub and AC need some work. I wonder how much more were the other towers or condos. Overall area was relaxing and quiet

The unit is bright with large floor to ceiling windows/sliding patio doors with views of the water. Indoor and outdoor pools were handy Complex overall is clean and in a safe area Easy to walk to beach and rock formations and boardwalk Lots of dining options a short walk away in town or on the beach Staff are very helpful Small grocery store on site is handy It is not a 5 star rating only because it could be updated but is good for the price

Property around the hotel where we had our breakfast was very nice. Room seemed dark and had a musty smell. Showers did not drain quick enough. Beds and pillows were worn out. The pool in the Pestana Atlantico was nice. Grocery store attached to the hotel was convenient. View out of our windows was not nice. Kept windows and curtains closed all the time. There was nothing to look at except streets and pedestrian and the emergency stairs. 😞
