「The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff helpful. We especially appreciated the staff on the morning we departed who called us a taxi and served us expresso as we waited. The restaurant meal we had was also excellent.」

「We had the most wonderful stay at Blackwell House in Scarva! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character, with every little detail thought of to make guests feel at home. The food was incredible (and plentiful!) and the rooms were spotless, cosy, and luxurious all at once. It’s one of those rare places where you can truly switch off and relax, and yet still feel utterly spoiled....

「Stayed in this lovely guesthouse. Was just off the main road and the house itself was so beautiful. It was fabulous. Easy check in and breakfast the two mornings were so yummy. Breakfast area was so gorgeous and the staff were the nicest. Had a WhatsApp from Lynne the owner who advised about check in and breakfast etc. great communication. Loved our stay and would stay again and definitely recommend.」
