Step back into the most iconic era of the Daytona area in this beautifully preserved 1950s riverfront home, where original architectural character meets thoughtful modern upgrades. Set directly on the Halifax River, the home puts you front and center for dolphins swimming by, prime fishing right from your own front yard and unforgettable water views.
Beach lovers are just 2 miles, or a quick 5 minute drive, from the Dunlawton Bridge beach access, and racing fans will love being only 20 minutes from Daytona International Speedway. Less than a 5 minute walk from the home, you'll find Full Sabor Restaurant, the Port Orange Pickleball Courts and a local bait and tackle shop for your fishing needs. Less than a mile away, the shops and restaurants around the Dunlawton Bridge offer even more options, including Aunt Catfish's (a must for brunch!), Mexican and Chinese restaurants, Port Orange Plaza, Farm Social, Dunkin' and more. It's a rare combination of true mid-century charm, a riverfront setting and the laid-back, historic character that first put this stretch of Florida coast on the map.
Start your day with a cup of coffee on the front porch, where comfortable seating invites you to take in gorgeous river views right from your doorstep. Step inside, and the fun begins in the home's dedicated game room, featuring darts, an air hockey table and more, all set against original brick flooring with a laid-back "Game Zone" vibe the whole group will enjoy.
From the game room, you'll find the fully equipped kitchen, refreshed with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and a dishwasher, along with classic terracotta tile flooring that pays homage to the home's 1950s roots. A Keurig and a dedicated coffee station in the adjoining hallway pantry make your mornings easy.
The kitchen opens to the charming wood-paneled front foyer and dining area, where original knotty pine paneling and vintage-inspired décor create a warm, nostalgic space for meals together. From here, step into the inviting living room, where large picture windows frame gorgeous river views and flood the space with natural light. Gather on the plush sectional and sofa around the home's original decorative fireplace (not for use, but a beautiful centerpiece) and the smart TV for movie nights in.
To the left of the living room, the primary suite offers a peaceful retreat with a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom featuring original 1950s green tile, a classic design touch that's been lovingly preserved. To the right of the living room are two guest bedrooms, the first with a king bed and TV and the second with a full bed and TV. Between them sits a delightful guest bathroom finished in original pink tile, a true time capsule of the area's golden era. Altogether, the home comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests.
Around back, the private backyard offers a spacious wood deck with a dining table, along with a covered patio featuring cozy seating and a fire pit, perfect for gathering after a day on the water.
