"We came looking for a camping spot for the solar eclipse. Our site was tucked away at the end of a huge field on a small peninsula with a running river nearby. The camping was amazing, the ground was nice and soft for our tents and we could build the campfire up with an endless supply of firewood. "The owner was an excellent communicator which made the arrival and departure run smoothly. The house had good parking for 2 cars and was in a great location making it easy to go back and forth to town. There was so much to keep our 5 and 7 year old grandkids busy all week. The beds were very comfortable- only 2 bedrooms had dressers so it was a slight inconvenience to not have drawer space for clothes."
