a highly disappointing experience during our recent stay at D’Wharf Hotel & Serviced Residence in Port Dickson, booked via your platform.
This trip was part of our honeymoon, which made the situation even more upsetting and disappointing.
We had booked a Premium Room with sea view and a Queen-size bed on a high floor. However, upon check-in, we were given a room on the 10th floor with a broken window, which allowed heavy rain and extremely loud wind noise to enter the room — making it impossible to rest or feel safe.
When we reported the issue to the reception, we were told refunds were not possible, but we were offered a different room on the first floor, which:
• Had no sea view, unlike what was advertised and paid for.
• Was a room for people with disabilities, which we did not request.
• Still had noticeable wind noise (though less than the first room).
• And most importantly, the air conditioning was not functioning, forcing us to spend the night in extreme heat, which made the experience even worse.
At that point, we clearly no longer had the premium experience we had paid for. We asked for at least a goodwill gesture or partial refund, but the hotel staff told us to contact Expedia directly.

nonsense
they locked the balcony. stay there many times with the nice view of the sea.
Staff cannot explain why and just said policy.
I will not stay there anymore.

En stor fejltagelse 😖
Totalt nedslidt hotel, møg beskidte gardiner, slidt og beskidt over alt, ingen brugbare liggestole ved poolen kun defekte.
Hele området var nedslidt og der var forladte hoteller og byggerier der var gået i stå, hold jer væk !!!!!

The entire property looks worn down, not at all as advertised. I’ve stayed at better hotels that cost the same. The amenities and the hotel grounds have seen better days.

On account of the arrival delay in the airport, when I came in the hotel lobby after midnight, there was no person working on the front desk.

Dated exterior but decent interior and location
Dated exterior but interior was decent. Service is friendly and location is good, next to PD Waterfront where you have many things available. Booking direct seem to be way cheaper when they have promo

What ever happened to hospitality?
Sadly, the D'Wharf has forgotten that hotels are in the business of hospitality. Instead of being greeted and welcomed, guests are told that check in is at 3pm but they will make an exception and allow 1:30 pm. Pay 50 MYR and you can get it two hours earlier. It matters not that we arrived tired after a morning of cycling and assured them that we would leave the next day by 7:30 am. It is not that there was no room available, the hotel was barely occupied, but policies are set in stone and a warm welcome and providing comfort to guests is not a priority. Better that the room sits vacant, that guests stand around and watch the clock click by, than allow the use of the room. We also wanted a room with one bed, of which there were countless available, but that required an upgrade, and again the comfort of the guest took second place to "policies". The lack of concern for guest comfort starts with the check in procedure, and continues with the near threadbare towels to there being no lounge chairs around what is otherwise a nice pool. You should also ignore the peeling paint on the outside, glass wall railings that have not been cleaned. The rooms are a good size and were they not made of concrete, I am sure management would have found a way to make them smaller to reduce costs.

Property common area look rundown but the room was really clean and comfortable. Facilities like pools, playground and gym are decent. Gym is well equipped. Breakfast was good too. Nothing much within walking distance but there are a couple of fast food joints and 24hrs mart.
