Blame Jaime | The Signature Suite

The original Blame Jaime—now our Signature Suite—anchors the Blame Jaime Family of Suites in a fully renovated historic building in downtown Port Clinton. Updated again in 2026, this 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath suite offers elevator access, secure entry, and a private apartment entrance.

Inside you’ll find a full kitchen, dining and living spaces, a workspace, in-unit laundry, WiFi, and smart TVs. The art is bold, playful, and a little risqué—always in good fun, but parents should be aware.

Steps from the Jet Express to Put-in-Bay, beaches, restaurants, bars, live music, shopping, and the downtown Entertainment District—all within the outdoor beverage zone. Extremely walkable, with street and private parking available.

This building is home to The Alibi suite, with three additional suites coming soon. I’m often onsite with my office just below and always available if needed, though many guests enjoy complete privacy.

Quiet hours after midnight. No parties or unregistered overnight guests.

Careful… you may not want to leave. 💋

I was meeting a friend for the weekend to go to Magee Marshes and to visit. When I travel with friends, I prefer NOT to share a room. I'll start by saying that we could NOT have gotten two hotel rooms for the weekend at a more affordable price than what we paid at Blame Jaime. The location was PERFECT. Walking distance to the Lake, and to local restaurants and shops. Free parking right behind the building. The apartment is adorable and very comfortable and clean. Queen size beds in both bedrooms. Very comfortable mattresses and plenty of pillows. Owner supplied a number of bagged snacks, breakfast bars, waters, coffee . . . and a bottle of Prosecco and some juice in case we wanted Mimosas! We were there in the off season, so things were very quiet, which was what we wanted, but in the summer, if you're looking to be in the middle of the action, you would have that too! But I'd like to note that the way the apartment is situated, once inside, even if it's noisy outside, you're insulated from the noise. Communication with the owner was easy and responses were prompt. I can't say enough about our stay!! I highly recommend, and we both plan to return!

Great anniversary weekend getaway!

Blame Jamie is one of the coolest VRBO’s that we have ever stayed in! Very clean, organized and well stocked! The location is perfect to walk around Port Clinton and close to many other cool places! We took the ferry to Put-In-Bay, visited Marblehead and Lakeside! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thanks for sharing your wonderful space!
