Olympic Holiday Haus - Main Chalet

Minutes from the Olympic National Park, this storybook chalet is the perfect location for a memorable getaway. The chalet has 4 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, living room, dining area, and a gourmet kitchen. Additionally, you will have shared access to unique spaces across the property including an outdoor kitchen, hot tub, game room, art studio, and fire pit. Wherever you decide to explore, you will bask in the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula while you stay at the Olympic Holiday Haus Main Chalet.

As you wind down the lane, you will sense that you are arriving somewhere incredibly special. Passing a field on your left and a wooded forest on your right, you’ll soon see the beautiful, Bavarian-style, Holiday Haus peeking through the cedars. You’ll feel right at home as you walk through the brick archway and into a courtyard with greens and flowers to greet you. As you step inside the front door, you’ll be swept into a state of wonder by the fascinating design and architecture surrounding you from floor to ceiling. You’ll see evidence of imagination in the brickwork, timber framing, hard scape, skylights, interior and exterior balconies, quality woodwork, the magnificent vaulted ceiling, and so much more. With multiple expansive areas to gather both indoors and outdoors, and huge, themed bedrooms to relax in, you’ll have the perfect space to celebrate at Holiday Haus. Here you’ll enjoy unique amenities that include double cooktops in the kitchen, massive fridge and freezer, wet-bar, wood fireplace, propane fireplace, extra sinks in the bedrooms, European-style bathrooms, large hot tub, protected fire pit, cedar decks, and outdoor kitchen area. This is one of the most creatively designed homes you’ll ever visit and is one that you’ll always remember.

When you stay at the Olympic Holiday Haus Main Chalet you will have access to the main home and property, excluding only the primary downstairs bedroom PentHaus and TreeHaus suites, as these are two other rentals that are on our property. Because of this, during your stay you may see other guests on site as you will have shared access to the detached game room, art studio, fire pit, hot tub, patio, and backyard.

While you stay at Olympic Holiday Haus Main Chalet you will have enough room to entertain and accommodate your entire party while still having ample space for all—inside and out. Relax, explore, and unwind as you savor the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula.

During your stay at Olympic Holiday Haus, we will be available to assist you with any questions that arise. You can contact us directly through AirBnB and if you need assistance on-site we will be able to pop over as we live just a few minutes away.

Our neighborhood is incredible—it boasts the best of both farmland and forest, and is set against the incredible backdrop of the Olympic Mountain range. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet and even though neighbors are nearby, you’ll have plenty of privacy at Holiday Haus—there are trees on three sides for shelter, and a spacious field for distance. And to top it all off, our neighborhood is just up the road from the beautiful Olympic Discovery Trail—so you can walk, bike, or jog through Northwest beauty from your home base! While staying at Holiday Haus you’ll be a short distance to many local gems including the entire Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent Lodge, Lake Sutherland, Elwha River, Salt Creek Recreation Area, Olympic Adventure Trail, Camaraderie Cellars, Harbinger Winery, Barhop Brewing, Extreme Sports Park, William R. Fairchild International Airport, Sabai Thai, Toga’s Soup House Deli & Gourmet, Elwha River Casino, Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort, and so much more—the adventure begins when you arrive!

There are just a few things to note prior to booking your stay at Olympic Holiday Haus:
• The area is home to bears, coyotes, hawks, eagles, and neighboring dogs—awareness of wildlife and neighbors is needed and all are to be respected.
• Wild and unruly parties are absolutely prohibited.
• Our pet fee is $100 per pet.
• The detached shop/construction zone and attached garage is prohibited from guest use.
• Limited wood will be provided for the outdoor fire pit, additional wood may be purchased.
• Limited Presto logs will be provided for the indoor fireplace, additional Presto logs may be purchased.
🔑 Check-In & Keys
• Please return keys to the lockbox at checkout. • Lost keys require a $100 replacement fee.

🔇 Quiet Hours
Our neighborhood is peaceful and quiet.
Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 9:00 AM, especially outdoors.

💧 Septic System
Our home uses a septic system.
Only flush toilet paper. Please do not flush wipes, feminine hygiene products, or other items.

💦 Hot Tub
Please help keep the hot tub clean and functioning properly.
• Rinse off before entering • No glass containers • Replace the lid after use
Improper use requiring draining or cleaning may result in additional costs.

🔥 Fireplaces
For safety:
• Do not leave fireplaces on overnight • Only burn approved firewood or Presto Logs in the wood stove • Do not use cedar wood from the outdoor fire pit indoors

🐕 Pets
Dogs are welcome.
• Please keep pets off furniture and upstairs • Do not leave pets unattended outside due to wildlife in the area

🚭 Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the home or outbuildings.
Please smoke outdoors and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

🚧 Construction Area
The shop near the driveway contains equipment and materials.
This area is off-limits to guests.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Gatherings
Celebrations are welcome, but wild or unruly parties are not permitted.
Please be respectful of neighbors and the peaceful surroundings.
