"These cabins are a bird watchers paradise. We saw over 40 species from the deck of our rustic little cabin. This location is out of the way. If you are driving yourself you will need 4 wheel drive as the driveway is steep and a bit rocky. Romey will work with you to get you a ride if you need one at a fair price. "A unique experience! Where you feel like you’re in an old style farm home. It had plenty of hot water for everyone and the views were spectacular. Communication with the owner and directions to the property where clear and accurate.The owner’s son came out to visit us and allow us to tour his coffee plantation, that supplies fair trade coffee to the US. The amount of native birds flying around the property was spectacular. Toucans, parrots, hummingbirds, and everything in between. If this is something that interests you, we were highly recommend staying at this property!"

"This place was one of our favorites in Costa Rica. The views are breathtaking. The outdoor balcony with unique hammock, swing, and jacuzzi tub was our favorite place to enjoy morning coffee and their incredible breakfast! They provided cozy housecoats as well that keep you warm on the chilly mornings. Javier was amazing. So personable, thoughtful and kind. I loved all the small details put into the cabins and the cheery burst of color in the decor. The property is gorgeous and a great place to spend time :)"
