"Ein sehr schönes Haus, sauber und gepflegt. Alles da was man braucht, Grill, gute Küchenausstattung, großer Kühlschrank. Wer sich selbst bekochen will, muss allerdings alles, auch Salz und Pfeffer, vor Ort besorgen. Von allen Zimmern, Küche und Wohnbereich ein toller Blick auf das Meer. Die Autobahn ist zwar in Sichtweite, stört aber nicht wirklich. Die Lage ist zentral, 10 min bis zum Supermarkt und 20 min. bis in die Innenstadt von Funchal. Top Ponta do Sol Hotel Reviews

Porto Mare Hotel, by PortoBay

10/10 Excellent

"Wonderful gardens, spa and pools. Great good"

Saccharum Resort

10/10 Excellent

"We had a great experience at Saccharum. Property is very clean and well kept, the view from our ocean room was amazing. The staff was helpful and friendly, going out of their way to get us a correct power adapter as we had the incorrect one. The breakfast buffet was top tier, we looked forward to our first meal of the day. We enjoyed our drinks at the beach club, and the loungers were clean and comfortable. My wife said her spa appointment in the hotel was a highlight of our trip to Madeira."

Savoy Palace - The Leading Hotels of the World - Savoy Signature

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely stunning and perfect in every way. We couldn’t have been happier with our 5 night stay here. Every member of staff goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect and the breakfast was amazing too. Such a beautiful looking hotel and in a great location with lots of restaurants nearby too. Only 15 minute walk to central Funchal. If we come back to Madeira we would book here again 100%."

NEXT - Savoy Signature

10/10 Excellent

"Fabulous hotel. We splashed out on a sea view suite and it was well worth the extra. The hotel is split either side of a road with a bridge walkway so it made a real difference being on the coast side, overlooking the pool. The room size was generous for two friends sharing. With a lovely kitchenette area that was exceptionally equipped; toaster, fridge, hob, dishwasher, everything you need if you want to do the odd meal in your room…… not that you’d need to. The bar/restaurant on site was good and not over priced, and there were so many great restaurants within walking distance. The pool area was lovely, plenty of shaded spots and easy access directly into the sea. Overall, we had the most wonderful mini break. Definitely worth spending on the suite!!!!"
