Atlantic View is a recently renovated traditional rural house that is recommended for hikers, sports enthusiasts and those who want to get away from urban centres.
The house has a floor area of approximately 90 square metres and includes a bedroom with a double bed (1.60 metres wide) and an en-suite bathroom, a bedroom on the upper floor with three single beds, a shared bathroom, a living room and a kitchen.
There is a covered space at the front of the house with a seating area, a dining table and a fabulous view of the ocean, ideal for relaxing in the late afternoon and enjoying the fabulous sunsets with their intense autumn colours.
The house is equipped with a fridge, washing machine, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi (500 Mbps), TV with international channels and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxing stay.
LOCATION
The house is in a rural area at 335 m from sea level and at 6 km from the village of Ponta do Sol, where there is a beach and some restaurants and cafes.
At about 1400 m there is a supermarket and at 800 m there is a small restaurant and cafe.
Ponta do Sol is located in the southwestern part of the island, which has the best weather conditions in Madeira.
A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.
Nearby you can enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other nautical activities.
The property has access to the main roads.
REMARKS
A car is recommended for this location.
Free car park is available in the property.
Due to the climate, there are also insects and lizards in the rural surroundings, which may be attracted to food scraps. For those who are uncomfortable with the presence of insects and lizards, we do not recommend staying in a rural area.
Cleaning is done before guests check in and there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels.
There is a small construction site nearby, which may cause noise and disturbance during the day on weekdays.
The increase in the number of guests implies a price increase of up to 10% per person.
CONDITIONS
1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.
3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival time is available via a key lockbox whose code is created and sent on the day of arrival. For face-to-face check-in, it is necessary to schedule the time and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.
4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.
5. Guests must inform about allergies, conditions or special needs before or immediately after booking in order to verify compliance and appropriate measures to be taken.
