This is the quietest coastal town in Daytona Beach Area. No businesses, except for waterfront restaurants, and marinas. Not a single hotel/motel. Purely residential area, perfect for the relaxing vacation you are looking for.
Ponce Inlet is also a home to one of the best beaches in the area. A very popular and very busy on weekends Lighthouse Park is at the tip of the Barrier Island, spanning from the Intracoastal, where you can enjoy visiting the tallest and most beautiful lighthouse in Florida. The traffic free beach and parks with nature boardwalks, make walks and bike rides enjoyable by all. The Marine Science Center and restaurants with live music are all part of this small town's charm.
