"Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. "Resort was beautiful! Rooms were clean staff was friendly and helpful . Restaurant upstairs by the pool was delicious! The ONLY problem was the road to get up to the resort itself . A taxis worst nightmare . I got charged extra for every taxi I took JUST because of the road . They all informed me that all taxis forbid the road that’s how bad it is . Just a heads up if I would’ve known I wouldn’t have booked because it was stressful . Other than that great stay !"

"the advert is a little bit misleading. Pinards Mountain Lodge is not near the sea. It is reachable 10 min from the sea only by car on a rough road. "The host was chill, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We paid for the shuttle service which was very convenient. The location is within walking distance from many great sites, including Trafalgar falls. I'd recommend staying for more than 1 night to really enjoy the area. The spa and natural pools in the river where perfectly refreshing. There is no bug net, but the fan did the trick and there weren't many biting bugs around anyway. I'd highly recommend the dinner! The portions are generous!"

"We had a fantastic stay at Ocean Oasis and would happily book here again. The hospitality truly made the difference. Ms. Clarke and Mr. Capitolin were exceptional, always making sure our family was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made us feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you to Ardelia for keeping our room impeccably clean throughout our stay. It was spotless every day, and her hard work did not go unnoticed. We also want to recognize Sierra, our waitress, who was always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Her excellent service and warm personality made every meal even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place with outstanding customer service, Ocean Oasis is an excellent choice. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit to Dominica so memorable. We look forward to returning!"

"This hotel was very close to the ferry boat marina and cruise ship docks. It's walkable to many shops and restaurants and right on a main street so I enjoyed the noise and vibrancy from the 2nd floor deck. My room was spotlessly clean and had a small fridge and a working air conditioner. The large deck was for all guests and overlooked the street. I was able to walk to the water where a cruise ship was docked, and then later that evening to a very enjoyable restaurant, that overlooked the marina and had a nice water view. As a single woman, I felt very safe walking those few blocks by myself. There was no on-site food, however, there were soft drinks, and I think some "adult beverages" available for purchase from a cooler/bar area. there was also a microwave available for use. The people who worked there were very pleasant. I only stayed there one night, but would stay again!"

"Beautiful serene property right off the ocean and a river. The ocean is not a beach for swimming but the resort has a pool. Peaceful lush environment. An amazing staff all around. Sernita was very friendly and always went out of her way to satisfy our needs. Ellen was very knowledgeable about the island’s plants and allowed us to harvest to make our own unique teas. We also received world class massages. The one downside would be the food. Average at best. All in all a beautiful island and it was the perfect getaway."

The restaurant/bar is convenient, and you can pre-order or enquire in advance about opening times, which was helpful for planning. My room was adequate, clean, and felt safe, there was night security present and staff on site, which gave extra peace of mind. Communication via WhatsApp was really helpful and made everything smooth from booking to check-in. All the staff were professional, friendly, and very accommodating throughout my stay. I would definitely consider another stay in the future. Special shout out to Ms Warrington for the support when needed. "

"Very clean, good AC and friendly neighborhood area. Owner lives in unit above you. Only downside is both beds are double/full size so it is a little tight. Location is great, located on a local street, close to mini-marts and about 20 mins from the cruise port and big grocery store. Need to rent a car to stay here. Live like a local in this Unit! :)"
