"I have hosted short term rentals and have been renting many for years, and I would say that this treehouse cottage was very cute and well thought out. That said, I would make some recommendation's. It wasn’t clear in the listing how far the house was from the water. It is a short walk but details should be a bit clearer. "My spouse and I decided to stay further outside of the city visiting Montreal for extra peace and quiet. It was nice to wake up and drink our coffee next to the lake. The home is well-appointed without being flashy. The beds were firm and comfortable—plenty of amenities including a fully appointed kitchen and cookware. The host was prompt and attentive, offering us to stay past checkout if needed. 10/10 would recommend."

"We had a great stay over the holiday break! Located in a quiet area, lots of great areas for us to take our dog for a walk. Pet friendly was a major factor for us and worked out well. "We spent 5 beautiful days at this little gem and couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need—nothing was missing. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and we truly appreciated how cozy everything felt. Our favorite spot was the screened-in deck, where we enjoyed our morning coffees while taking in the peaceful surroundings. Communication with the host was outstanding—clear, quick, and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The staff was wonderful. The service was excellent, but there were a couple of issues with the room. I think a circuit has gone out, causing two outlets to fail off the kitchen. The fan switch in the upstairs bathroom isn't responding and we couldn't change the temperature to the upstairs. It was so hot (26.5 degrees)"

"Cozy cottage located very close to town on a beautiful quiet, private lake. Kids loved the paddleboards and kayaks and the private beach a quick row away. Cottage was very clean and equipped with everything you’d ever need including board games, dvds and books, cooking essentials etc. Cozy beds and pillows. Owner was incredibly kind and checked in on us upon our arrival and throughout the stay. Would highly recommend, looking forward to renting out again soon. "
