"Hotel is clean , employee's are very friendly and great customer service. The only issue is the toilet not flashing well and their trash can in the bathroom. Otherwise everything is great."

"Close to St Elmo Fort & The War Museum. Easy to walk to the centre of Valletta. The staff were lovely & very accommodating when I had to make several changes because of the Iran war & Lufthansa strikes. "

"We changed hotels at the last minute and we are so glad we did. The hotel was spotless and the building was highly maintained, the staff were amazing, friendly, and very welcoming. We have stayed in many countries this was the best breakfast by far, fresh coffee, iced coffee or other hot beverages of your choice made fresh just for you no old fashioned coffee pots, the breakfast choice had a choice to suit everybody, "The Waterfront" is "on point"when it comes to expectations of hotels in 2026, if I had to pick a fault like most hotel gyms it is ok but if I was that desperate to run I had miles of coast to run around. We will be back and we know where we will be staying thanks to all the smiling staff that made our stay fabulous Dave and Lisa England x"

"Positives: 5* service from the second we arrived with a glass of complimentary fizz while we checked in. Suite with sauna and plunge pool was beautiful and very spacious. Staff at breakfast, by the pool and at the LV restaurant were all outstanding. Food all excellent Minor negatives: The view from the pool isn’t the best, but in the summer I think we’d have made better use of the beach club owned by the hotel (a short walk away). We could have used the slightly nicer pool in the sister hotel over the road, but sun loungers there require a reservation (and there was no availability throughout our stay)."

"Good looking property in an excellent location for exploring Valletta. The staff were all friendly and happy to help. The includrd breakfast was mainly from a set menu, but they were happy to make adjustments for individual preferences."

"We had a wonderful three night stay. Unfortunately we just returned for 1 more night abd service is very bad. They have refused to give us our gold reward bottle of wine and were very rude about it. Staff at reception this time have no clue and said gold rewards are not available to us."

"We stayed 6 nights at the Hyatt Regency and can only describe it as exceptional. The location is central and close to the nightlife (which was a bit of a worry as we are not party animals), however we did not hear a peep from outside and we both slept incredibly well. Easy to walk to Sliema and a great location to explore the rest of the island. We had some beautiful meals on Spinola bay, and I enjoyed morning runs along the coast before it got too hot and I felt very safe. The room was much bigger than expected, immaculately clean and felt really luxurious. Having a balcony with a seaview was a real treat. Housekeeping are incredible and it was so lovely to return to a clean room after a busy day of exploring. The rooftop pool was another added bonus. Beautiful views, the pool was warm and very quiet during our stay, no fighting for a sun lounger! We didn't use the indoor pool but it looked clean and relaxing. Breakfast was fabulous every morning with a varied selection. We had access to the Regency Club, however we only worked out where it was on the last day (our own fault as we didn't ask and we were out and about most of our stay) but was a lovely addition to have. The staff have been wonderful, I have never experienced such attentive service at a hotel. Every single member of staff we encountered were friendly, warm and helpful, really going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable."
