We had a wonderful stay in this rental! The house is walking distance to the beach, a local grocery store, and an ice cream shop. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils we needed. Check-in and out were easy and the host was accessible even though we never needed him because everything was perfect.

More Beach Time!

One block from the beach with plenty of parking - this location can’t be beat! The unit was very clean and kitchen well stocked. There are lots of thoughtful add-ins such as extra towel racks in each bedroom. The outside shower is an added bonus! The owner was extremely responsive. It’s not fancy but a perfect beach house. We had an excellent week with family and friends.

Repeat Renters

We are repeat renters for a reason; location, cleanliness, knowing what to expect, Steve’s communication, and a space on the island that is still available for a single family. This year’s stay was no different than the past and we enjoyed a fantastic week. One change we weren’t aware of is there are now blankets and pillows on every bed while the check in instructions still note you need to bring your own. Good to know if space in your car is at a premium.

Perfect Single Family Set Up

As the traditional capes continue to be replaced with huge homes it has become more difficult to find a smaller home for a single family, so in that regard this is a gem. Perfectly located for where we like to stay on the island to be close to family, this was just the right size for our family and we could have comfortably had a few more stay with us. The unit is your traditional duplex, very clean, had enough indoor space for us to comfortably lounge on a rainy day, and the kitchen had all the dishes and pots/pans needed for cooking, plus the grill worked great. The outdoor shower is shared with the unit below, but our family and the ones on the first floor seemed to keep different schedules and it was never an issue.

Perfect rental!

This was our second year renting this house. We came back for a reason and will make this a tradition! House set up is very open and conducive to hosting. Very clean and bright with a great view. Perks like household supplies, coffee pot, and a dishwasher makes it an easy home away from home. Walkable to Acme and restaurants if you like to get steps in. :)

Great family vacation

The house is a great location. Close to the beach, quiet area, close to shops, restaurants and activities. The house was as pictured and the kitchen was well stocked. Nice to have a washer/dryer. Steve was very responsive. The house was a "traditional LBI shore house" - not fancy, but a great value and we have a wonderful week.

Perfect all around

We had a great time at this rental. We stayed on the 2nd floor and enjoyed a wonderful week. The location provides easy access to the beach, bike rentals, places to eat and is an area to walk around. The unit itself had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck with coffee and a book. So relaxing. The owner was very responsive with good communication throughout the entire process from initial renting to check out. He ensured that check-in was easy and provided step by step instructions on how to do so and even had a plan B in case we experienced any difficulty. We were also very lucky that the family renting the 1st floor the same week was super nice and friendly just making our stay more enjoyable. The neighbors are also really nice and welcoming. We would definitely stay at this rental again. It was the most a nice and relaxing week!

The house had a nice, open feel/flow between the kitchen, dining and living room. Excellent proximity to and view of the beach. House was clean and impressively stocked with kitchen supplies. Very thorough house instructions were provided upon check-in and in a binder. My only minor feedback would be the lock box took some work to open, but not enough take away from the overall positive experience!

Great little condo for a week at the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was great, just a block off the beach, which made it easy to go back and forth from beach to house with our little ones (ages 3.5 and 11 months). The condo was clean and kitchen very well equipped, and was actually “brighter” than the pictures showed. The place is simple, but had all that we needed for a week at the beach. The location was great, just a short car or bike ride from the main “downtown” area of beach haven. Not able to walk to town, but we didn’t mind it at all. And Steve was a great host, very responsive throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend and see myself going back for sure.

Great little house with everything!

The property is located in a great location in LBI, within walking distance to ACME and just a few houses to he beach. Check in was super easy. The house has everything you need for the week. The living room kitchen area were great for gathering as a family! Our family of 4 had a great time!

Perfect LBI Salt Box

It's the old school salt box shoobee experience; comfy, cozy, and only a block from the beach. Nice neighbors too. Funny, found out my wife's uncle rented out the same 2nd floor about 40 years ago. We liked it.

Excellent Rental, great location

Just returned from 2 solid weeks at this rental. The unit is well furnished, clean, well equipped, and everything works. The location is 1 block from the beach, only a few miles from Bay Village. There is plenty of parking for visitors (a big plus for a duplex). The unit owner contacted us about an issue with the grill and promptly took care of the problem. If there's any problems, you have a very responsive owner to help you. Highly recommend this unit, we hope to return again!

Great location

This house was a great spot near the acme (supermarket) and right next to the beach. The house had great room and accommodation for our big family. It was great that we were able to rent the top and bottom of the duplex at the same time. My parents really enjoyed sitting on the porch and eating ice cream with the family at the end of the night.
