Great house for big numbers. Sunny outdoor gathering and eating spaces . Two bathrooms were well placed. Good kitchen-great gas cooker and bbq, but more serving dishes / bowls/ platters would have been useful.

Great layout for families

We had a lovely stay at this property. The layout of bedrooms was perfect for our group of families with small children and there was lots of space. An awesome location and we would highly recommend staying.

We were in the area for our daughter's wedding in nearby Motupipi, with the reception to be held at the Pohara Community Hall. We were central to both locations Couldn't of got any better

Little paradise by the beach

5 stars all the way , nothing we could fault on our little long weekend getaway. What a stunning place so close to the beach . The house it self are just stunning , ultra clean , very modern with all the bells and whistles. Thanks for having us , we will have you guys on our list for the future :)

Bliss in Pohara

Thanks for great holiday spot! The house is fantastic and more than accomodated our family. A great location close to the beach and Molly B's, as well as within driving distance of Takaka and the great activities in Golden Bay. Will be back!!

Fantastic spot for a great summer break

Great place to stay for a summer holiday, or any holiday for that matter. Clean, modern, super easy and brilliantly symmetrical house design with two identical bedroom/bathroom "wings". Would love to book again when the opportunity allows.

Good for groups, we had 8 adults and had heaps of room. Kitchen fully equiped. Beach n local bar/bistro 5 mins away. Boat ramp at Marina and Tata 5 - 10 away.

Perfect for extended family group

We were an extended family group, comprising family of four (2 adults, 2 teens), and then 2 sets of couples. We stayed for four nights. The house was perfect for our needs - the four rooms easily accommodated all 8 members of our group, and the layout of the house was such that the family of four was in one 'wing' and the other two couples in the other. Each wing had its own bathroom, which again made it easy and convenient for everyone. Generous living area was perfect for playing cards, watching TV and enjoying dinner. And just a short walk to the beach or convenience store at the nearby campground. The only slight inconvenience was having to bring our own linen and towels, but we managed ... and overall had a great stay. Would happily stay again next time we come to Golden Bay.
