This is a beautiful B&B. The owners and staff make you feel like you are home. Room are spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is excellent. Location is close to hiking swimming and boating. We have been there two years in a row and plan to go back next year.

The B&B is a beautifully maintained property. Charming decor. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Very close to the various lakes and the white Mountains. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was provided and was excellent too. Recommend the Inn highly. We will be back.

Quick getaway

We stayed for only a few days, but had a great time. They have the best breakfast ive had in a long time. Rooms are clean and cozy. Some rooms have barn doors on the bathroom (I'm not a fan). Quick walk to Walter's Basin restraunt, which is fun to sit at outdoor bar and watch the boats. Hotel is located near Meredith bay and Lake Winnipesaukee. Would definatley stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Squam Lake Inn. Check in/out were both simple, there was ample parking (off season and the restaurant wasn’t open so this may change in the high season), and our room was very comfortable. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and were so pleased with the atmosphere. There is a lovely coffee bar and book shelf with some games. Breakfast was delicious, hearty, and the coffee was hot and fresh. I would make a point of coming back here and preferentially booking B&Bs elsewhere now based on our experience.

Beautiful Inn in Holderness

Amazingly cute place. Clean, well-appointed and comfortable room. It would be nice if breakfast can begin at 7 AM, not 8 AM. There was a party when I arrived in the evening. Lots of laughter and merriment and for some reason, around 9 they moved very close to my room and it was hard to hear anything else. At 9:30 pm I texted the Inn to see if there was a time when it would all end (I was expecting 10 or 11 PM would be the answer.) And wiithin minutes the group was gone. I felt a bit guilty, but as I was exhausted, it was great to be able to finally fall asleep. Perhaps if I were more of a night owl, and got a later start in the day, I would have nothing but wonderful memories of Squam Lake Inn. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone without a schedule or who doesn't have an early start the next day.

Amazing location and breakfast. Unfortunately the restaurant is not open for the whole week. Some guests obtained free wine and cheese while we were not offered.
