We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakefront home. The house was cozy, comfortable, and full of charming touches that made it feel welcoming from the moment we arrived. One of our favorite parts of the trip was sitting on the deck each morning with a cup of coffee, taking in the peaceful lake views. The lake itself was a highlight of our stay. We brought our own paddleboards and spent a lot of time on the water. The temperature was perfect, and our family had so much fun relaxing, swimming, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.A couple of small suggestions for future guests' comfort: blackout or heavier curtains in the upstairs lakeside bedroom would be helpful, as the morning sun comes up over the lake quite early and the room gets bright around sunrise. A quick trip to CVS for a sleep mask did help, however;). Additionally, there wasn't a clear path down to the lake when we arrived, so I ended up clearing a way through some briars to make access easier.Overall, these were minor issues in what was otherwise a fantastic stay. The setting is gorgeous, the home is lovely, and we made wonderful family memories here. We would happily recommend this property to others looking for a relaxing lakeside getaway.

the property was very over grown when we got there, someone came right away and took care of it without me ever communicating that i was disappointed by its condition. the rest of the house seemed as though they've been fixing it up by coving things in paint like the shower and refrigerator. the bathroom upstairs had sloppy flooring where you could see the previous tile between gaps of the newer flooring panels. bugs were listed as something you'd have to deal with but there maybe should have been advice that after dark the bugs are small enough to fit through the screens on the windows and screen door. thankfully we realized it fast and closed everything up . it also made more sense as to why many of the cups and mugs had dead bugs in them. the location of plymouth itself was great. the views of the wildlife on the water was great in the morning. we watched osprey, bald eagles, swans, blue and green heron, loons, ducks, and even humming birds. we also caught a fish and saw some eels by the dock. what the house was in general just didn't match the price in which we spent on it. we still enjoyed ourselves and made the best of it, but if i compare past vrbo trips i've made this price was a reach for the quality of the stay it was.
