Lovely little room in great location

Great location. Close to the lakes and amenities. Beautiful setting with lovely views. Room was great and had a nice balcony. Brilliant service. Would definitely return!

A really lovely guest house in a great location to drive to Plitvice lakes! The only downside was no fan was provided and we had some really hot days - we kept the windows opened which helped.

We had a lovely stay at House Karakas. The host was very welcoming :-) The room appeared recently renovated with a really good finish. It was clean and welcoming. The house was a great location for Plitvice National Park about a 20 minute drive away. I wouldn't hesitate on recommending House Karakas...thank you Lydia for a lovely welcome and stay.

Don이 반갑게 맞이해주는 좋은 숙소입니다. 근처 맛있는 레스토랑,마트가있어서 산책겸 돌아다니기좋아요. 사장님 친절하시고 주차도 편리하게 할수있어서 좋았어요. 방이 좁아서 캐리어2개풀기 좀 힘들긴했어요. 플리트 비체까지는 30분정도 걸려요.

Die Lage der Unterkunft im Übersichtsplan stimmt nicht mit der tatsächlichen Lage des Wohnhauses überein. Die Lage wird neben dem Hotel Belvedere angezeigt und das sind mehr als 15 KM Autofahrt dazwischen.

Excellent!

Finding House Karakas was easy and after a friendly welcome we were shown our spotlessly clean room. The owners run a very tight ship (in the most positive sense of the word) and everything looks immaculate. Parking is easy and the Plitvicka National Park is about 20 minutes away by car (entrance 2). The only drawbacks were the limited hot water supply in the shower and the fact that the complex is somewhat noisy, i.e. it is fairly easy to hear (loud) voices coming from other rooms.
