"Beautiful property with well-kept gardens and surroundings. The room was very spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The only negative I can mention is the air conditioning, which was quite loud, and the extra sofa bed, which made so much noise that we sometimes woke up even from a deep sleep. The restaurant served very tasty, high-quality food, but the included breakfast was the same every morning. There are two pools on the property, both clean and well maintained."

"A 4 star hotel should have a restaurant or be very well maintained. This facility had neither. There is no restaurant close by and the facilities are sub standard. The river is very polluted. Towels were dirty and the unit felt unsecure as it was directly on a thorough-fare."

"Air conditioning - Not at all not sure there was any out put got more from the open door wind to be honest. Staff were all lovely Room was clean but needs a tidy. Shower head was broken. "

"Wow...what a wonderfull homely welcome we had. Christa showed us round and what a place with so many extra little touches. Great location not far off the main road but far enough away to have very little traffic noise. Short walk into Knysna but we chose to use Uber which was very quick and not expensive. Breakfast was delicious and a work of art. Christa arranged for a service wash of our clothes which we really appreciated for the remainder of our trip. She also advised us on things to do around the area. Overall the whole stay was very comfortable and we would highly recommend. "
