"Had a great stay in Bear Ridge at Fox Lakeview Lodge on Fox Lake! There for a short fishing trip with my son and some of his friends. Communication with the owner and Christina their supervisor prior to our stay was quick and easy. The room and sleeping options were exactly what we needed for our group of five. "Very nice cottage on the lakefront. Kayaks were wonderful and used every day we stayed there. Very clean with everything we needed during our stay, and the host was very friendly and helpful. Overall, very nice, the only improvement would be to update the mattress in the main bedroom. We ended up sleeping in the twin beds in the second bedroom and they were much more comfortable. A wonderful experience and will consider renting again."

The pool is small but it is indoor and is well maintained. The breakfast is better then most hotels in this price range. Overall a very comfortable two night stay."

"It is not what I expected but was super convenient. If you didn’t know you have to go into the convenience store to check in. The rooms are upstairs from it. They’re clean and spacious and the bathroom spacious. It all looks very new and having a 24 hour convenience store right down the elevator is nice to have for drinks and food. They do have a Mexican restaurant that we didn’t get to try before we left but it is also right in the same building and a gas station is right on the property too."
